Offering full-care foaling down and short-term agistment for the 2025 season. With 15+ years’ experience foaling down my own mares and working with broodmares and foals, foalingg down at large studs, I provide a quiet, safe, and experienced setup tailored for this important time.

It’s been a hot minute, but saddle up — we’ve got an update that’s worth the wait!

Last week, our two majestic queens, Zahra of Blackall Park and Lude fan Regal, strutted their stuff at the Victoria Keuring in Wangoom — and damn, did they shine.

They’ve been working their beautiful butts off with Terarossa Lodge Friesians and Elianna since January, and that dedication showed in spades.

Both girls absolutely nailed their IBOP tests — Zahra with a 73 and Lude with a 75. Honest to god, I was expecting chaos, but they turned up like pros.

And then — hold onto your reins —
ZAHRA WAS AWARDED 2ND PREMIE STER.
2nd. Premie. Ster.
Cue the ugly crying and celebratory carrot tossing.

We’re beyond proud of these girls. Big love to everyone who’s been part of their journey!

He has ultimate dressage potential with that amazing Friesian temperament!

At 1 week old he has already accepted a halter, leading, picking up all four feet and comfortably enjoying human touch everywhere.

Auke is a very classy looking foal with an uphill shape and a very noble head, Auke has the trademark curled ears we all know and love from his Grandsire Epke and with his pedigree he should mature into a wonderfully hairy Friesian with an impressive mane!
Should mature around 16.1 to 16.2hh.

His Dam Zahra is currently in training and can be viewed at the April 2025 Keuring.

This weekend we headed all the way out to Riddells creek ( 5 minutes up the road ) for a dressage jackpot - it was a long drive but we made it 😂

Zahra let her light shine and we rode a beautiful test giving us a score of 71.09% and placing 6th in a large field of 21 horse and rider combinations.

So proud of Zahra and we are looking forward to preparing for the next Keuring IBop with her hopefully not too soon away!

We have some exciting pairings this year!

We have Zahra x Teun 505 due mid December.

And our 18 year old barren mare Tamke Black Diamond (Ster) has granted us a miracle with a Dirk T van Sessing foal via Embryo Transfer due mid Feb.

Tamke is an exceptional mare with an amazing mare line.

We’ve tried for many years to get a foal from Tamke with no luck. We gave it one last go with ET and I think I’m still in shock that we even got an embryo let along a positive pregnancy scan!
