🐾❄️ Winter is here – and just like us, our pets can feel the chill too, especially if they suffer from arthritis.

Cold weather can stiffen joints and make moving around more uncomfortable for cats and dogs with arthritis. You might notice your pet slowing down, limping, or being less eager to jump or play.
You can help your pet by booking in a consultation with the vet to assess their joints and discuss management such as pain relief and joint supplements.
You can also help them at home by:

❄️ Keeping them warm.
❄️ Providing soft bedding.
❄️ Elevated food and water bowls.
❄️ Non slip mats for slippery floors.
❄️ Keeping your pet at a healthy weight to reduce stress on joints.

‼️⚠️WARNING SURGICAL CONTENT⚠️‼️

Meet Nutmeg, the sweetest bundle of joy! 💚

Nutmeg just had this mast cell tumor removed and is on the road to recovery! Mast cell tumors are one of the most common skin cancers in dogs, but with early detection and treatment the prognosis can be great! All mast cell tumors are sent to a lab to get graded. Grades gives us a better idea of treatment and prognosis.

Lumps and bumps can come in all shapes and sizes so it’s important to get them checked and have a conversation with your vet. Don’t forget to check your pets regularly for any new lumps, as early action makes all the difference.

Today, the PVC team took part in a hot mat Pilates class at Malvern East, thanks to a kind invitation from one of the wonderful instructors.
We value opportunities to connect outside the clinic, unwind, and strengthen our team dynamic. Taking time to recharge together helps us return to work feeling refreshed and more united.
Working in this industry can be physically and mentally demanding, so practices like Pilates offer an ideal way to manage stress while supporting functional movement and overall wellbeing.
A big thank you to CorePlus for hosting us and delivering such a fantastic session—we truly appreciate the sense of community. 🫶🤸‍♀️

Meet Tilly, who wasn’t always smiling like this. This little girl suffered a spinal injury a few years ago and was later surrendered to Tails of the Forgotten Paws. Since then, she has made remarkable progress thanks to the unwavering support of her TOFP family, who guided her rehabilitation through hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, acupuncture, medical care, and stem cell therapy! She wouldn’t be where she is today without their devoted care and commitment. We hope she continues to smile through life- go Tilly!
