December 2025 🎄

I wasn’t available during the Christmas break, as I had family visiting Melbourne.

It was a quiet period for dog sitting in early to mid-December, as it seemed many families were saving their holidays for Christmas.

About a week before Christmas Day, I visited two cat families, both very familiar faces to me — Marble and Coco, and Wonky, Winkie, and Griff. Their hoomans took a few days off before the peak holiday period.

Thank you again for trusting me to take care of your fur babies. 🤍

October–November 2025 🍂✈️🐾

We had a short October break and went to Bali for a proper rest. After coming back, it was straight back to familiar faces at home.

🐶 Macchi stayed with us for two weeks. He’s the sweetest boy — loves lying on us and is honestly our best Netflix buddy. He also loves his ball and enjoys running around at the park. Macchi usually comes to stay 2–3 times a year, and every visit feels easy and familiar.

🐱 Towards the end of the month, I visited my familiar 6-cat family again — if you’ve been following my posts, you’ll probably recognise them by now.

Their hooman also referred a cat visit enquiry to me, so I visited Ahsoka. She’s a shy but very pretty girl, and also very photogenic. I spent some quiet time helping her warm up, and once she felt comfortable, I couldn’t stop taking photos of her.

🐶 In the last few days of November, Stitch stayed with us. He also comes 2–3 times a year while his hooman is away. This time, he had a bath and blow-dry, and he shed quite a lot — probably because of the change of season. He was a very good boy during grooming.
Having two Border Collies in the house again was lots of fun, and everyone had a great time.

Another couple of months filled with familiar routines, trusted families, and happy reunions. 🤍

September 2025 🍃

🐶 We welcomed a new poodle face, Miles. He’s a chocolate-sweet boy who absolutely loves balls and going to the park. Watching him enjoy his playtime was always a highlight.

🐱 During the month, I also visited two cat families. One was Coco and Marble, and the other was Wonk, Winkie, and Griff. We know each other very well by now, and every visit really feels like catching up with old friends. It’s always good to see them doing well and sticking to their familiar routines.

Another month of familiar faces, new friends, and simple moments. 🤍

Back to July 2025, we had some very familiar faces in our home again. 🐾

🐶 Luna and Monte came to stay with us for a few short nights. Every time they visit, I’m amazed by how well-behaved they are. Even though they’re not biological siblings, they really look after (and monitor 😂) each other like a real brother and sister.

🐶 Then we had Mila. She and Luna are my boy Guulay’s little girl friends — luckily they didn’t stay during the same period 😂
We’ve known both families for years now, and it’s truly special to see these pups grow up. Every time they stay with us, it feels just like a nephew coming over for a sleepover.

We were also lucky to have snow over the weekend, so I took Mila to the snow mountains. ❄️ It was her first time seeing snow, and she handled it really well.

🐱 Towards the end of the month, I visited my 3-cat family — Winkie, Wonky, and Griff. I spent some time with them, making sure they were fed and that everything was okay while their family was away.

Once again, it really felt like catching up with old friends. 🤍

June 2025 ❄️
This month was a mix of familiar faces and a few meaningful moments.

At the beginning and end of June, I was back again visiting my familiar 6-cat family. Same routine, same little habits — it really feels very natural every time I’m there.

In between, I had Casper, the Poodle, come stay with us again. He’s been here a few times already, but sadly his family will be moving away soon — so this was probably the last time I get to see him. Always grateful for the time we had together. 🤍

Then there was Mila, the Australian Shepherd. She’s been staying with us since she was under one year old, and she’s really good friends with my boy Guulay. Seeing them together always feels easy and familiar.

After that, I had Coco stay over as well. She first stayed with me two years ago when her owner went back overseas, and she stayed for a whole month back then — so everything already feels very familiar between us.

I don’t take many dogs at the same time — usually only one or two — and I realised that most of my bookings now are from repeat families. I’m honestly very thankful for the trust and support from everyone. 🐾🤍

May 2025 🍂
This month was all about my familiar 6-cat family again.
Thank you so much to their owner for trusting me — I’ve been taking care of her cats for almost 2 years now, every time she’s away.

It was getting quite cold in May, and you can really see it in the photos — everyone found their own cosy way to stay warm. Some tucked themselves into beds and blankets, some enjoyed the winter sun outside, and some just quietly sat and watched around the house.

I was especially happy to see the yellow girl looking better this time. She was diagnosed with a thyroid issue during the last visit, so it was really nice to see her eating well and looking more comfortable now.

Each visit feels very familiar — same routine, same faces, same little personalities. Always grateful for the trust and the chance to take care of them again. 🤍🐾

On to April 2025 — a month that reminded me once again just how grateful I am for the trust pet parents give me. 💛
It’s such an honour to be chosen to care for their precious fur babies, to be part of their lives, and to see the excitement in their eyes when they arrive at my door. 🐾

🐾 First up, we had Luna and Monte — my classic black-and-white duo! 🖤🤍
These two have been staying with me whenever their pawrents are away for almost two years now. They’re not just regular guests anymore — they’re truly like family. To Guulay, they’re basically cousins, and the three of them have their own little pack dynamic that’s always fun (and sometimes a little cheeky) to watch.

🐾 I also had two bookings for my beloved 6-cat family this month — one for 3 days, and another for 5 days. Visiting them feels exactly like popping over to my sister’s house. Everything is familiar, comfortable, and the kitties always greet me with so much love and affection. 🐱❤️

🐾 And remember Casper? Our bubbly little Cavoodle friend from last month? He came back for a one-night stay!
Even though it was just one night, he managed to fill our home with so much joy and energy. That’s just who Casper is — a little bundle of happiness.

April was all about familiar faces, long-time friendships, and the comfort of knowing that these furry friends truly feel at home here. ✨

Now let’s jump into March 2025 — it was a Busy Bee month indeed! 🐝

🐾 We had three of our lovely regular guests return — Macchi, Mila, and Stitch!
They all know our place like the back of their paw, and every visit feels more and more like they’re just coming back to their auntie’s house for a holiday. 🏡💕

✨ Mila’s mum told me that as soon as they started packing her things, Mila already knew she was coming to stay with us — and got super excited! That kind of reaction seriously melts my heart every time. 🥹💖

✨ Macchi and Guulay have the sweetest bond — Guulay absolutely adores him and insists on sticking right by his side the whole time (boy’s love? maybe! 😂). Watching them together is just the cutest thing.

✨ As for Stitch, let’s be real — there’s nothing better than having two Border Collies in one house! 🐾🐾 The energy, the games, the zoomies… they were inseparable. Best mates ever.

🐾 And we welcomed a new buddy this month — Casper, a bouncy little Cavoodle!
He stayed with us for a few days, and wow — what a ball of energy! Casper is super affectionate, loves attention (and giving it back), and made himself right at home in no time. He kept us all on our toes, in the best way possible!

March was full of wagging tails, returning faces, and new friendships — just the way we like it.

Let’s move on to February 2025—a quiet and cozy month! 🌿

🐾 I only had one booking this month, and it was none other than our lovely repeat guest—Harriet!
She’s stayed with us a few times now, and honestly, it always feels like welcoming an old friend back into our home. Harriet is such a gentle soul—easygoing, affectionate, and totally at ease with Guulay. 💕
The two of them get along so well, it’s like they have their own little routine every time she visits. Whether it’s lounging in the sun, sharing treat time, or napping side by side, it’s always a peaceful, heartwarming week when Harriet’s around. 🐶🌼

It was a quieter month overall, and in a way, it was just what we needed to recharge before the busier seasons ahead. ✨

Wow, my last update was all the way back in January 😅… and just like that, we’re already in August! Can’t believe we’re halfway through 2025!

This year, I slowed things down a little—took in fewer pups compared to last year, and most of them were my lovely regulars (which made me a bit lazy to update too 😆). But it’s time to catch up and do a little month-by-month recap! Let’s start with January 2025:

🐾 I visited Hope every day for 2 weeks. She’s such a sweet girl, and I’m already booked in to visit her again in 2026! Can’t wait to see her in just a couple of months! 💕

🐾 Spent time with three adorable cats—Wonly, Winkie, and Griff. Each of them has such a unique personality, but all equally cute and cuddly! 😺🐾

🐾 If you’ve been following my posts, you’ll know I regularly visit a lovely 6-cat family. I’ve honestly lost count of how many times I’ve been there—it feels like I’m their honorary auntie now 😄. I usually see them every 1-2 months and love each visit!

🐾 Last but not least, I had Odie, the sweetest senior Beagle boy, stay with me for 2 weeks. Despite his age, he was full of energy and joy! My boy Guulay absolutely loved having him around and even took on the role of big brother. 💛

Stay tuned—more updates to come as I recap the year month by month! ✨

Following up from my last post about the sweet kitty diagnosed with thyroid problems, I should also mention that she lives with a group of six other cats! 🐾🐈🐈‍⬛ While she required special care, I was also looking after the rest of her furry family during that time. ❤️

Thankfully, they were all such good boys and girls—no trouble at all! 😇 Taking care of them was such a joy, and I truly felt loved being surrounded by so many adorable and affectionate kitties. 🥰🐾

Here are some photos from that time. Hope you enjoy these snippets of my little cat-sitting adventure! 🐱📸
