What does Hugo get up to when no one is looking? CHEEKY BUSINESS! 😹

Our little troublemaker has been busy! When Hugo first came into care, he was a very snotty, sorry-for-himself little man. And just when his foster carer thought things were under control, he decided to throw a little ringworm into the mix. Because apparently, she didn't have quite enough on her plate! 🤦‍♀️😂

But look at him now! Those meds are clearly doing their job, and Hugo is feeling much better. He's got his cheeky kitten mojo back and is making the most of it!

This is exactly what your donations to our Chuffed campaign help make possible. From medication and vet visits to ongoing care, food and all the TLC these little ones need, every donation helps us give vulnerable kittens like Hugo a chance to thrive. ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has donated and helped us care for little ones like Hugo. We couldn't do it without you! 🐾

🪱🐜 NEW MONTH, NEW FLEA & WORM REMINDER! 🐜🪱

Another month has rolled around, which means it’s time to ask the important questions…

Have you flea’d and wormed your cats? 👀🐱

The 1st of the month is easy to remember… in theory. But we get it. Life gets BUSY! 😂

Around here we’re organising comedy shows, bake sales, raffles, finding cats their furrever homes… and occasionally remembering to feed ourselves. ☕️🐈

That’s why we love that is a 3-monthly treatment. One less thing to remember when your brain already has 47 tabs open! 🧠💥

So, consider this your friendly feline PSA:

🐾 Check your cat’s flea prevention
🐾 Check their worming is up to date
🐾 Give them a treat for being ridiculously adorable

And if you’ve completely forgotten when their last treatment was… you’re not alone. Go check the calendar! 😂

Are your cats up-to-date with their flea & worm prevention? 🐱💊

Lovely? Absolutely. Playful? Definitely. Independent? You bet.

Well, this is something to celebrate!

Thanks to our incredibly generous supporters, our Kitten Season Survival Fund has raised MORE than $5,000! ❤️

And we have one very special thank you to make.

One extraordinarily generous donor stepped in with a whopping $1,661 top-up, helping push us over the finish line and ensuring our little ones have what they need this kitten season.

We are absolutely blown away by this generosity.

To everyone who donated, shared our campaign, encouraged others or helped spread the word, THANK YOU. Every single contribution helped get us here.

So, what does this mean?

🍼 Full bottles of kitten formula.

Beerus is a round, fluffy boy whose favourite hobby is cuddling. He is actually so big that he can probably be a big spoon for you. But be careful when he does that, as you can easily fall into the deepest, most restorative sleep known to humankind. If you’re up for some serious cuddles, then you and Beerus might be a match.

Beerus is a true gentleman. When he wants attention, he will come to you and politely ask to be scratched everywhere. And by everywhere, he means EVERYWHERE. Head, cheeks, back, chin… even the belly. Belly rubs are not just permitted, but enthusiastically welcomed.

While Beerus loves humans, he doesn’t really like other cats, so he would be happiest in a household without them, so he can be the only royalty. If you want a fluffy, affectionate, soft-voiced companion who will happily sleep beside you, this might be a perfect cat for you. As long as you’re ready to pay back with as many scratches as possible.

Marceline and the Case of the Troublesome Bottom!

Poor Marceline has a problem with her rear end, and it's proving to be a real pain in the bum!

Our gorgeous girl has been battling stubborn a**l gland issues. Her glands keep filling up and becoming infected, leaving her uncomfortable and scooting across the floor far more often than any respectable lady should!

Two sedations and a**l gland flushes, antibiotics, a high-fibre diet and supplements have all failed to resolve her troublesome backside.

The one upside? Marceline seems to rather enjoy her regular vet visits for a**l gland expressions. We're not sure if she loves the attention or just appreciates the relief!

While her bottom-related adventures might sound entertaining, Marceline is genuinely uncomfortable. She's now being referred to a veterinary dermatologist to investigate what's causing all this bum trouble.

Unfortunately, Marceline's backside is becoming rather expensive, and her specialist appointment will put another dent in our rescue funds!

Can you spare a few dollars to help us get to the bottom of Marceline's bottom troubles?

Please help us save Marceline's bum (and our bank balance)!
