We had the pleasure of snuggling with these two adorable, velvety Rex bunnies today as they came in for their castration procedure. Not only are they as sweet as can be, but did you know that Rex rabbits have the softest fur of all rabbit breeds? It's like cuddling a fluffy cloud! 🌥️

✨ Fun Fact: Rex rabbits' fur feels like velvet because of a unique gene that gives them a short, plush coat. So if you're ever lucky enough to meet one, be ready for the ultimate cuddle session!

Due to unexpected staff illness and limited staffing, Emerald Vet Clinic will be closing early at 5 PM today and tomorrow (Tuesday and Wednesday).

🐦 When the kookaburras stopped laughing, we knew something was wrong! 😱

This lovebird duo fainted mid-flight (drama alert!) and crash-landed into our care. With a little rest, warm up in the infant box, rehydration, and some feathery cuddles, they were soon back to their old selves — off to rehab and now soaring through the skies once more!

🪶 Fun Facts: Kookaburras are actually kingfishers — but they don’t fish! They're more into snakes, bugs, and the occasional sausage off your BBQ. A group of kookaburras is called a riot — and trust us, it sounded like one in the treatment room!
