Hello Team,
I just wanted to share our incredible experience with your service.
On Christmas Eve my parents had to put to sleep their beloved Golden girl Izzy.
The love, kindness abd respect shown throughout the whole process has truly be amazing and hasn't gone unnoticed by our family.

Izzy was such a massive part of all of lifes but to my Mum especially her furbaby 🥰 Izzy brought so much joy to us, my 4 daughters loving her and Izzy in return would follow then everywhere and be exhausted when they left after hours if playing together.
There will forever be a massive hole in our hearts.

Keep reading for Top tips for keeping Christmas hazard-free for pets

Protect your pet from poisons: A range of festive treats and traditions, such as chocolate in advent calendars and sweets, raisins, xylitol (found in sugar-free treats), nuts, grapes, liquorice, poinsettia, holly and mistletoe are toxic to cats and dogs.
Keep decorations out of reach: Ribbons, wrapping paper, baubles, tinsel and tree lights can seem like appealing playthings to cats and dogs but can be very dangerous if broken, chewed or swallowed. Batteries for Christmas gifts also need to be kept safe as, if ingested, they may cause severe chemical burns to the mouth, throat and stomach.
Forget festive food for pets: We all enjoy a richer diet over Christmas, but fatty foods and Christmas dinners shouldn’t be shared with the animals of the household. They can trigger sickness and diarrhoea or other conditions from gastroenteritis to pancreatitis, so try to stick to your pet’s regular diet and routine. Too many treats can also lead to pet obesity.
Keep away the bones: Cooked bones, including turkey bones, should not be given to pets as they can splinter and puncture the digestive tract.
Know where to go: Even with all the care in the world, animal accidents and emergencies can still happen. Make sure you’re prepared by checking your vet’s emergency cover provision and holiday opening hours.

“Chewy and I had an amazing connection and every day he spent all his time with me ‘checking in.’ He would be by my side at all times. When other animals were sick, he would sit with them and comfort them. When my Dad was passing he would sit with him and give love and comfort.”

With the weather warming up, snakes are getting out and about, and that can be bad news for doggos and owners alike…

I can confirm, as my boy almost stood on a brown snake near Boggy Creek in Langwarrin just the other day! Luckily it was early morning, and neither seemed interested in the other 🙏🏼

If you’re out walking your dogs, remember to keep a close eye out 🧡☀️

We received our favourite kind of phone call yesterday.. lovingly coined “Endo the Magnificent” by his human, this beautiful boys appointment with us has been cancelled for the foreseeable future! 💛
