2025 — what a year ✨
Kicked off strong with Wedding Season 24/25 being the best I’ve had yet 💍🐩
As the year rolled on, bookings naturally slowed during the wetter months — muddy paws on the dress? Heck no 🐾😂
And while I was still working with dogs day-to-day, those parts of my business that used to light me up started feeling more heavy than heartfelt.
A sad realisation, but one I couldn’t ignore.
It wasn’t about the work itself — the dogs I cared for mean the world to me, and I’ll forever reminisce my time with them ❤️
What it really came down to was feeling stagnant and recognising I was ready for growth and a new challenge.
So I listened to myself and stepped into a new chapter working at a dog daycare 🐶
I traded the full-time business owner hat for an employee lanyard, and honestly? It’s been refreshing to just be present with dogs without running the whole show behind the scenes.
Growth isn’t always loud.
Sometimes it looks like rest.
Sometimes it looks like pivoting.
Sometimes it looks like choosing you.
This change came from a place of self-care, clarity, and trusting myself enough to say:
“I’m ready for something new, and I’m going to make that happen.”
I’m so grateful for every pup I worked with in 2025 — the walks, the pet sitting, the weddings, the bonds 🫶
I’ve got a some beautiful weddings coming up in the new year… and I cannot wait 😍
And while I haven’t been posting as regularly on socials, I’m still here, still accepting bookings, and always ready to celebrate life’s biggest moments with your pups 💒
Weddings are where my heart feels most full.
Being a Wedding Pet Attendant, helping dogs be part of the big day, working with couples and photographers, and creating those unforgettable moments —
this is where my true passion lives ❤️🔥
2026 is a continuation.
More weddings. More peace of mind for couples. More barks of joy at the big moments.
Here’s to the year to come — and the dogs who walk into it with me! 🐕 💖
With love,
Mrs Barker x
