🐶 Does your dog struggle to chew their supplements? Here’s a really simple trick.

One of the things we wanted when creating Happy Poochie was to make daily supplements as easy as possible, for both dogs and their humans.

Our soft chews can be given straight to your dog (Schmidty’s preferred method 😂), but they can also be crumbled directly over their food.

This can be particularly handy for:
🐾 Puppies who may find a whole chew difficult
🐾 Senior dogs who have trouble chewing
🐾 Fussy dogs who prefer supplements mixed through their meals

And one important reminder: make sure you’re giving the right number of chews for your dog’s weight.

The recommended daily amount isn't necessarily one chew for every dog. We have a simple weight-based sizing guide printed on every Happy Poochie bottle and available on our website, so you can easily check the correct daily serving for your pup.

💜 Correct amount + consistency = getting the most out of their daily supplement routine.

We love sharing little tips like this because getting out into the Melbourne dog community and talking to local pet parents has shown us just how many questions people have about supplements.

Another brilliant day with the West Footscray dog community! 🐶💜

We were back at Slow Food Melbourne in West Footscray today for our second market, and once again we had such a great time meeting the local poochies and their humans!

One thing that really stands out to us every time we do an event like this is the stories people share with us about their dogs.
We spoke with pet parents at all different stages, some already very proactive about their dog's joint, gut and overall health, and others who had never really considered supplements for their dog before...

But almost every conversation has one thing in common:
People absolutely love their dogs and consider them family members... And it's really encouraging to see how many local pet parents are thinking proactively about keeping them happy and healthy for as long as possible ❤️

We had such a great time at our first Slow Food Market in West Footscray that we couldn't wait to do it again!
Last time, we met so many gorgeous local poochies (and their humans! 😂), handed out plenty of samples and had some fantastic conversations with dog parents about everything from joint health and mobility to gut health, skin issues and anxiety.
