π2025 NOVEMBER PRICE INCREASE π
The last time we had a price increase was in July of 2022, thatβs 3 years ago. We have tried our best to keep our prices affordable but need to be transparent about the costs involved. This isnβt a huge increase this is $50 per kitten and the adults adoption fee is remaining the same.
This year has been a huge year in relation to the costs of running the rescue and purchasing all of the essentials we need to keep operating. These last couple of months alone, litter & food costs have gone up. Our vet prices have gone up. As a rescue we donβt receive any funding and are run solely on their adoption fees to help fund new kittens and cats in care.
As of November 2025 our adoptions fee will be
Kittens- 12 months $400
Bonded pair kittens $750
12 months and over $250
We hope that everyone understands and continues to adopt. Adopting from a rescue is still a huge amount cheaper than getting a free to a good home kitten and attempting to do the work alone.
Below are some estimations of attempting to do the work alone
Consult everytime you request to see a vet anywhere between $100-$200
Vaccine anywhere between
$80-$150
Microchip Anywhere between
$50-$60
Desexing
Male & female
$250 above for males and $350 and above with females being more costly as the surgery is harder.
Flea and worming
On average $25 a month
We also offer 7 day health guarantees on all of our animals which the owner would need to pay out of pocket, if something went wrong after desexing or the kitten got stressed in their new environment, If not adopted from a rescue.
πOur kittens comeπ
Desexed
Microchipped,
Flea and wormed
Vaccinated x2
Fully litter trained
And with two bags of poowee lavender clumping cat litter
πWHERE DOES YOUR ADOPTION FEE GO?π
πSick kittens π
These adoption fee costs also go into helping fund our sick kittens. As you know we specialise in pregnant cats and sick kittens. When a kitten is no longer sick and is adopted out we do not charge extra as it costs us extra to take care of the kitten.
πpregnant queensπ
On average stay with us 4-5 months, need to be fed extra and are often adopted out at lower adoption fees than our kittens.
πitems to runπ
This included everyday items, wet food/meat and dry kitten. Specialised food for anyone who is sick, or nursing queens.
Flea and worming treatments, kittens under the age of 12 weeks need to be treated every 2 weeks.
Majority of other items needed such as bed, toys and general maintenance of the pens and rescue area is covered by me using my own money and this is not accounted for using their adoption fees.
Above is a tiny snipet of what has increased for us in the last 6 months. We have for a while been one of the cheapest rescue groups to adopt from however this increase in all our items has forced us to increase. I understand some people will complain about the increase hence some tiny amount of explaining that goes into this decision, that we have been considering for a few months now. It is not a huge increase $50 per kitten.
πAs stated many times, If one can not afford an adoption fee they can not afford to properly care of it and give it the vet work that it needs to remain healthy.
Those who adopt from us would know and understand that we pour our heart and soul into these tiny kittens who come into our care.
We look forward to rescuing some more in the future and appreciate everyone for understanding.
