Update #3 Dear Customers,

Public Holidays in April - please note that Planet Pets will be closed during all public holidays this month - Friday 15th to Monday 18th for Easter and Monday 25th ANZAC Day. Please also note that as suppliers will be closed for orders and deliveries, there may be some stock limitations for the next week or two.

Saturday Hours - new hours for Saturday are 10 am - 2 pm to make the opening time consistent with all other business days.

New phone number! The shop has a new mobile phone, please note and save 0438 318 456 - so you are now able to make calls, send messages, and photos to this number.

Enjoy the easter break and make sure you come in early next week to get stuff for your furries.

Dear Customers

Thank you for your extended support of Planet Pets! A few announcements:

- Supply Chain Issues
It is still difficult to get some product lines in - from cargo ships coming into the country to local trucks moving stuff around, disruptions caused by the pandemic are likely to continue for few more months - and you may have to consider alternatives.

- Focus on Australian Companies and More Holistic Foods
There are many new brands of pet food, made in Australia using a holistic approach, rather than scientific approach. The key difference is the ingredients are easily understandable and their benefits known. Meals for Mutts is already popular, and the shop now stocks Lifewise https://www.lifewisepetfood.com/ and True Colours https://www.truecoloursfordogs.com.au/, and will stock the full range of Black Hawk, including the full Grain Free range in the coming weeks.

Of course, everything you buy comes with a palatability guarantee - which means you can return it if your pet won’t eat it (some conditions apply)

- Loyalty Program - The program will continue and is expanded to accomodate switching brands of food. This has been offered to compensate for not having certain lines come in. It will work now on weight of the bag of food - so you can switch to a similar sized bag and continue on the program.

One month in! Thank you everyone for your continued support during the change of ownership of Planet Pets. Thank you Andrew and Teena for a smooth transition, and as you may be aware, Teena continues to be part of the shop by coming in for a couple of days a week.

Brief introduction: Hi! My name is Naman, a resident of Hawthorn, with a small family - two cats, one dog and a year old baby. I have been in the pet industry for over 7 years and own another pet shop in South Melbourne.

Many of you I have met already, thank you for a warm welcome.

Trading hours are the same (for now) I look forward to seeing you in the shop, next time and for many more years to come.
