✨ LIttleV&Friends Animal Rescue @ The Cat Lover’s Festival, Melbourne 2025 ✨

On Saturday 25th-26th October, the magnificent Melbourne Showgrounds will be hosting the greatest feline-focused-festival in Australia to celebrate everything that’s cool about cats!😸 Join in on the festivities and help us to celebrate our rescue efforts at The Cat Lover’s Festival! 🎉

LV&F Animal Rescue will be located at stand number G208 in the Adoption Zone 🐾
Come visit us to have a cuddle with some of our kittens up for adoption, or to have a chat to our lovely volunteers about foster care and rescue work and join in on our fundraising and raffle activities 🐈

Hi, my name is Xyla! 😻
This little one is cheeky and playful with an affectionate and loving personality 🩷 Xyla came into rescue care at only 2 weeks old and was hand reared on milk formula by her foster carer! 🍼 As such, she has grown up closely alongside humans and other foster kittens and cats! Xyla loves to run around with the other kitties and play with her many toys 🪶 She will follow the resident cat around the house and learn her habits and antics by watching curiously. When it’s time for rest, Xyla enjoys cuddling up on the couch watching television with you 📺 She loves her fluffy blanket, making biscuits and hiding underneath in her kitty cave. At night times, Xyla will join you in bed, snuggling up close and making sure you’re cosy and warm together. She will purr so softly to let you know that she is the happiest little kitten 😴 Xyla has a big personality and would make an amazing little house pet for a very lucky family. She would be very grateful to have a forever family that is open to having a friend for her to play with 🐱🐶 Xyla must maintain an indoor-only lifestyle for her ongoing safety and wellbeing.

Beautiful foster kitten Xyla has grown up so much! This little one came into rescue care with 4 other babies when their mama cat had passed away 😢 This was a shared rescue effort with Mornington Moggie Rescue , two groups working together to help this litter. Unfortunately 2 of her siblings also didn’t make it, but Xyla has remained so strong throughout her journey with us ❤️
Xyla will be ready to find her forever home in the coming weeks. We hope to find this precious girl the best and most loving family ever 🏡

LittleV&Friends Animal Rescue is an independent rescue group with a small team dedicated to re-homing abandoned, orphaned or stray animals. We rescue animals of all ages, sizes and health statuses from pounds, surrenders and off the streets. We have a strong focus for caring for neonatal kittens, critically ill, and special needs companion animals.

​Our rescue group is staffed by a small team of volunteers and consists of qualified medical professionals working in the veterinary field, alongside a close knit of animal rescue groups and experienced foster carers. Together, we are a network working in unison to find the perfect homes for our rescue animals.

Our survival as an organisation relies on community support and volunteers. LittleV&Friends Animal Rescue is self-funded and supplemented by your generous public donations. All contributions received go directly into helping the cats, kittens and animals in our care.
