Today I had the pleasure of treating ‘Fridae’, the gorgeous Miniature Long-Haired Dachshund.
She’s been having some trouble with patella luxation, a common issue in smaller breeds where the kneecap slips out of place and makes walking uncomfortable.
In her animal osteopathy sessions, I have been working on gently releasing her lower back, hip and thigh muscles to take pressure off her knees. She’s already showing encouraging signs, with less hopping and a smoother stride on her walks 🐾🐾 🐾 Her owner has been brilliant at her hip extension exercises at home too! Great job!👏

Arlo and Aski having osteopathy treatment together today 🙌🏻
They had been struggling with their shoulders and knees but are showing big signs of improvement. Aski used to be nervous during treatment because he was so sore but absolute loves his osteo sessions now he’s feeling better to touch! 🐶

Forever grateful for kind clients and beautiful pups like Riley (17) and Josie (16)!
It’s been a privilege treating these two beloved poodles for the past 5 years. 🐾

Our regular animal osteopathy sessions have focused on keeping them moving comfortably and minimising joint strain and overcompensation.

Josie’s treatments have supported her digestive system—something miniature poodles often struggle with—while Riley’s care has focused on reducing the load on his weaker front legs and rebalancing his centre of gravity.

Every dog is different, and osteopathy supports the whole body, gently and holistically. 🙌🏻
