Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mums out there — two-legged and four-legged alike 💐🐾

Today we’re celebrating the ones who do it all — from early morning feeds and late-night cuddles, to worrying over every little limp, sneeze, or skipped meal.

Pet mums, you know the drill…
You’ve mastered the art of reading “the look,” perfected your baby voice, and somehow always know exactly when something isn’t quite right. The love, care, and devotion you show your furry family members never goes unnoticed — especially by us.

And to the human mums juggling both kids and pets — we see you. You’re basically running a full-time zoo with extra snacks and even less sleep.

From all of us here at the clinic, thank you for trusting us to care for your beloved family members. It’s a privilege to be part of their lives (and yours).

Wishing you a day filled with love, cuddles, and maybe even a little bit of peace and quiet… if your pets allow it 😉

Happy Mother’s Day 💝

To honour the courage, sacrifice, and sorrow of all who served—and those who did not return.

We remember not only the brave men and women who gave everything for others, but also the animals who stood beside them. Horses, donkeys, dogs, and birds—faithful, unspoken heroes who carried the same weight of war.

Their stories are woven into our history, and their service will never be forgotten.

We are closed today, Anzac Day, however, if you have a pet emergency our main clinic in Bundoora is open 24 hours all weekend. Call 94672255.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY TO ALL OF OUR FURRY FRIENDS, CUSTOMERS, FAMILY MEMBERS AND OUR HARDWORKING TEAM!
Of course there are some safety tips we need to share so we won't have to see you this Valentine's Day.
Be careful with chocolates and candy, flowers, alcohol, toys and candles. If you feel your pet has ingested anything that may be toxic to them, please don't hesitate to call us or head directly to our emergency clinic. We are open 24/7 for any advice or treatment!

With the long weekend coming up and another scorching hot day on Saturday, just a reminder to be extra careful with our beloved pets. Long weekend activities like BBQ's, swimming and just being out and about can bring about unexpected risks. Please make sure your pets have plenty of shade, loads of water and if possible keep them inside. Walk your dogs early in the morning and be aware of how hot pavements can become. Burnt paws and heat stroke can happen very easily and something we sadly see every summer.
Be aware of pets around BBQ's. Those tempting smells will bring out those begging puppy dog eyes but don't be persuaded! Cooked bones, onions, corn cobs and fatty meats can spell disaster for a pet and a trip to the emergency clinic! Should the worst happen our hard working team are here for you and your pet and we're open 24 hours all weekend for any emergency.
