Max is an 11 year old Dachshund. He weighs around 8kg.

Max has come to Nbar as his owner could no longer care for him. He has a thyroid condition that requires lifelong medication.

Max is a lovely old man. He loves a good scratch and to curl up on the couch. Being Undesexed until coming into our care, he was very excited to meet all the other foster dogs and a tad humpy! Though he did wear himself out fairly quickly and has settled in nicely.

Max has been an only dog so would be ok in a one dog home if his people are home most of the time. A home with a doggy friend would be preferred.

Max needs some help with housetraining but he is a fast learner. He walks well on lead and likes meeting new people.

Max would like a quiet Dachshund experienced home who understands the quirks of this breed.
