🏕️ Camping with Dogs: Long Weekend Edition 🐾
This long weekend, Ian, Thumper and our mate Nacho packed their bags and headed off on a camping adventure. For Nacho and Thumper, it was their very first camping trip, and they absolutely nailed it! ❤️
Camping with dogs can be an amazing experience, but a little preparation goes a long way. Here are a few things I never leave home without:
🐾 A Crate
A crate gives your dog a safe space to relax and switch off when everything gets a bit exciting. Bonus points for a weather-resistant cover to help protect them from the elements.
🐾 A Long Line
Perfect for giving your dog extra freedom to explore safely while still keeping them under control. More sniffing, more adventure, less stress.
🐾 A Good Harness
The harnesses got a real workout this weekend! Whether you’re hiking, exploring campsites or managing excited dogs around other campers, a well-fitted harness is worth its weight in gold.
🐾 Raised Dog Beds
The dogs loved having somewhere comfortable and elevated to rest after a big day of adventures. Raised beds help keep them off the cold, damp ground too.
🐾 Chews & Treats
Lots of them! Long-lasting chews are fantastic for helping dogs settle around camp. The Bully Stick Holder was a camping essential, keeping chews secure and fingers safe.
🐾 Gut Protect
New environments, new water sources, different routines and all those exciting smells can sometimes upset sensitive tummies. .ceuticals Gut Protect comes with us everywhere to help keep those guts happy and healthy.
Most importantly, remember to relax, enjoy the adventure and make some memories with your dogs. They don’t care if it’s a five-star resort or a tent under the stars — they just love being there with you. ❤️
