Yep, I’m on the loo… 🚽 🐕
Assistance dog training isn’t always glamorous; sometimes it’s:

🐾 Squeeze into tiny spaces: because not every toilet cubicle was designed with a dog in mind! Disability toilets aren’t always available!

🐾 Hold a stand: when it’s just not hygienic for a sit or down.

🐾 Stay close, no wandering off to investigate the hand dryer, bin or mysterious bathroom smells.

🐾 Ignore distractions including approximately 30,000 VERY interesting smells. 👃😂

🐾 NO PEEKING UNDER THE CUBICLE DOOR! 👀🚫
Everyone deserves a little privacy.

🐾 Wait calmly. your human has business to attend to. Your job is to chill… while standing 😎

💡 Train it gradually: Start in larger spaces, teach the position first, then slowly add smaller spaces, duration, your home toilet and distractions.

And yes… I really don’t like talking to the camera however, I will film myself on the loo…. go figure 😂

Keep training your dogs!
Even though I personally don’t need this behaviour, training my dogs keeps our bond strong & ALL our brains active… & well lit 😜💡
