Beltana Questing Gold (aka Crumpet) had her debut competition last week and it's moments like this that make all the time and effort that goes into producing a calm and confident young horse, really start to pay off. I was super proud of her and she received some really positive comments from the judge - 'lovely fwd willing horse, showing a lot of promise for the future'.

She handled the busy warm up arena like an old hand and wasn't even fazed by a lose horse galloping past her yard (her hay was more interesting).

Crumpet will be looking for a new 🏡 in the not to distant future. A super sweet mare who is very willing and trainable. She is suited to a calm and confident rider, as she is still at the age that she requires a little support at times.

Great out on a trail in company, much happier to follow, than be out the front.

The EvA80 Young Horse Classic Eventing Horse Challenge winner at Heytesbury Horse Trials was Beltana Finley & Baylee Eve Equestrian.

What a lovely combination they are becoming and the epitome of what the late Zoe Warrell was aiming the series for.

Beltana Odin - If you are after an eventer or dressage horse, you might want to tuck this guy away for the future. His full siblings are all out winning rugs in dressage, combined training and eventing. His full brother Beltana Finley is out there winning all the 5/6 yo young horses classes with the very talented Baylee Eve. Although, he might not suit those who are vertically challenged, he is going to be a big!

Beltana Rumi - This little filly really is something special, super sweet and sensible.
We only have a few young horses left by Sam on the market. This yearling filly is one of them.

Vale Le Grand Pomme, or Sam as he was more affectionately known. Due to his age and ongoing health issues, he has been laid to rest.

We had the pleasure of having this beautiful man in our lives for nearly 10 years. He was truly one in a million, most of the time you wouldn't know he was a stallion, he loved to play with his kids and would love to have a chat with whoever was heading out the drive for a ride. He was incredibly cuddly and if you ever went out in the paddock, he would be right behind you, after a scratch and a cuddle.

I feel very privileged to have you in our lives for so long and also very proud of all the babies you produced. Everyone who has one of you kids loves them and comments on their beautiful natures.

Missing you already 💚

After a rocky start, little one is doing well. She spent a week in hospital due to low sodium bicarbonate levels but is back home and doing well.
We try and always make sure that we have at least 2 foals in a year because having a little buddy your own size, we believe, is so important. Because she is the only foal this season we have decided to leave Odin and Rumi, the yearlings in with her so she can get some interactions and play.
Odin seems to be the favourite and they are spending more and more time together. He is very gentle with her, considering he seems like a giant compared to her 💚

It's official, we have one less sticky beak watching over anything and everything that goes on around here.
Boots headed off to a wonderful new home today and will be with her big sister Bacardi.
We couldn't be happier with her new home. I know you will do her proud Jess 💚
We do have a couple of geldings left looking for homes, I feel like adding the quote 'hurry, while stock lasts', because we literally, have limited stock left!

Our last foal for the season was born on the 3rd of January and the last foal at Beltana Park by Sam (Le Grand Pomme). He has been named Beltana Odin. The name is from Norse mythology and is associated with wisdom, strength and courage.

We have decided due to recently losing 2 of our young horses, one of which was very traumatic, to no longer continue breeding horses.

As we had already purchased 2 services to Pegasus Lodge Silver Sovereign these will be used for 2025 foals and will be our last foals.

Although recent events have really made us question humanity, we as a whole have really enjoyed the experience. We have loved every single horse we have bred and absolutely love seeing them go on to be loved and allowed to shine.

We only have 2 geldings left available by Sam, so if you are after a very special equine friend, please get in contact.

This is a very bitter sweet time for us.
