Meet Angus the Newfoundland 🤎

Angus was admitted to hospital for an ear flush under general anaesthesia. This is where we clean and medicate deep into the ear canal for efficient treatment of ear infections. We’re happy to report that at Angus’ revisit appointment he was cleared of infection.

A reminder that if you notice your dog OR cat moving their head abnormally, or if there’s discharge or a smell coming from their ears to book in a vet appointment as soon as possible 👂

MERRY CHRISTMAS ft. PABLO and MILLA 💝🎄✨

Our whole team of vets, nurses and receptionists wish to thank you for your support in 2024.

Every time you visit our clinic you directly help our shelter animals by funding their much needed vet work. Along with helping our animals you also help us. The love we get from our patients make the hardest days a little lighter. We’re a special team in that our ultimate goal is to serve the community. Education, affordable desexing and quality vet care are at the fore front of our mission and this wouldn’t be possible without you.

Our team would also like to hold close our clients who are missing a set or two of paws this Christmas time.

Have a happy and safe New Year & we’ll see you in 2025 💙

❤️‍🩹 Sensitive medical case ❤️‍🩹

Lulu and Baby Doll were in foster care with one of our amazing carers when they started to become unwell, showing signs of diarrhoea and lethargy. Their carer brought them straight to the clinic for a health check, and upon arrival, they were admitted with a suspected toxoplasmosis infection.

Toxoplasmosis is a parasitic disease that can spread to humans and potentially cause seizures and, if pregnant, birth defects.

“Toxo” can cause a range of symptoms in cats including lethargy, loss of appetite, and in severe cases coma. Lulu and Baby Doll were deteriorating rapidly and needed a nurse to hold their heads up for treatment. Thankfully, they were surrounded by our amazing team, but they needed to be strong to pull through.

Toxoplasmosis can spread to kittens through their mother during pregnancy or through exposure to infected f***s.

I’m pleased to say that they have responded well to treatment, and when they’re old enough they’ll be looking for their forever family through

A big shoutout to all of our dog, cat, guinea pig, and bunny foster carers! 🐕🐈🐇
