The group are expanding the available accomodation and building stables to specification. After 40 + years in property development and the construction industry Paul Lofitis decided to pursue his other lifelong passion and so he purchased a few thoroughbreds. He was not interested in joining a large stable and so was fortunate to come across Julius Sandhu, a small boutique trainer in Cranbourne. P
aul was taken with Julius’s genuine love and affection for his horses and his endless hours of hands-on dedication. He knew that his horses would be in safe hands with Julius. In 2019, with his background in property development, a growing love for his horses and a vision, Paul purchased the old Mick Kent training facility, located directly opposite the Cranbourne training track. Since then, LTG has improved the amenities and completely overhauled the facility, upgrading all the horse boxes and day yards as well as the landscaping. LTG now owns over 30 horses including 3 brood mares, and a number of weanlings. The property is constantly growing with 3 trainers already occupying the site. With increasing demand, LTG is now expanding further with an additional 32 boxes, including day yards, a horse walker, wash bays, tie- ups, a treadmill, security systems, and anything that is required by the onsite trainers. The group's mission is to build a state of the art facility with all that is required to ensure and maintain the health and wellbeing of all the horses, while in turn providing trainers and owners with the convenience of direct access to all onsite and offsite facilities.
