Three weeks ago, we said goodbye to beautiful Frankie and while she is deeply missed, it's moments like these that remind us just how special she was.

Last week, Frankie's mum kindly dropped into the clinic with a copy of ๐™๐™–๐™ž๐™ก๐™จ ๐™๐™ง๐™ค๐™ข ๐˜ผ๐™ง๐™ค๐™ช๐™ฃ๐™™ ๐™ฉ๐™๐™š ๐™’๐™ค๐™ง๐™ก๐™™ โ€“ 2025 ๐˜Œ๐˜ฅ๐˜ช๐˜ต๐˜ช๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ, featuring none other than Frankie herself. What a wonderful way to celebrate her life and the joy she brought to everyone who knew her. ๐Ÿพ

๐Ÿฅœ๐Ÿ’› Maverick the gorgeous 3-month-old Golden Retriever happily tucked into some peanut butter-coated liver treats, completely unaware that his intestinal wormer was cleverly hidden inside! ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿถ

Regular intestinal worming is an important part of keeping puppies healthy, helping to protect them from parasites that can affect their growth, digestion and overall wellbeing.

Safe to say Maverick gave this month's worming treatment a big paws up! ๐Ÿพ

Surgery, even routine surgery, is one of those moments where every owner has a quiet word with themselves on the way out the door. We take that seriously, which is why our anaesthetic protocol is the same for every patient, no exceptions.

Every pet that goes under anaesthetic at Noah's Ark has pre-anaesthetic bloods first. We check kidney and liver function, clotting, and red and white cell counts before we even consider proceeding. From routine desexing and dental surgery through to soft tissue and orthopaedic procedures (with a visiting professional veterinary surgeon for more complex orthopaedic cases), the same safety standard applies.

It adds a step. It also adds peace of mind.
