No one wants to break their back mucking out chook pens weekly.
I know I don't.
I use the deep litter method and let the bio/microorganisms do the work for me.
This method helps to keep the p**p dry while the chickens scratch around, and over time it breaks down and makes a perfect addition to your garden.
Because it's been sitting and being turned over by the chickens for three months or more, it's fine to go straight onto the garden beds or compost.
