Our beautiful, wonderful, essential girl Lily crossed the Rainbow Bridge yesterday and we are utterly devastated and inconsolable.

Lily was a naturally confident, fun-loving girl who easily and completely charmed everyone she came across, whether it be people or other dogs. Her inherently calm demeanour meant she mixed readily with any situation. Her only natural enemy - anyone with the audacity to walk past our rural property - were of course put in their place with alacrity, but even they soon discovered that it was all a show for our benefit. She was a gentle soul with the heart of a lion.

Lily loved vigorous brushes and body rubs almost as much as food, the only thing she loved more than food was more food. She loved adventures, and new places. She absolutely adored lying in the sun, almost to the point of combustion at times; she did not like being cold. She was playful, loved a good zoomie and a wrassle, and it was always on her own terms. Somewhere on the list she loved us, too.

So Lily, we want to say the most intensely heartfelt thank you for gracing us with your unique and glorious character, we've never met anyone quite like you and we never will again. You've broken our hearts by leaving us but it was always going to be this way. May you stay forever in our hearts and dreams.

An amazing "Welcome Back" for this beautiful girl, Issie! It's been six years since her last visit!! She's lucky enough to be always with her family, thankfully. But for once she couldn't be with them for a few days and we were so happy to hear that she was coming again 💖💖💖. She's still very affectionate and is always ready to put a paw up for a treat 😁🥰.

This is Maya, a gorgeous Australian Cattle Dog puppy. She's another first-timer here and we couldn't be happier with how she's going.

In typical fashion for her breed she's a bit more people-oriented than focused on other dogs but she's learning to be part of the group.

When you look into those eyes you can see she prefers cuddles to treats. Lucky for her we've got plenty of both!! 🥰😊🥰

Hills Petminder had a wonderful evening at the February Fursday pop-up Twilight Market on Thursday. We talked with so many wonderful people who brought their furry friends out to have a fun mingle and socialise.

Big thanks to everyone who stopped by for a 'chat and a pat' with our two 'brand ambassadors' Lily and Zoe - they loved all the extra attention 😍🐕😍🐩😁 (and treats!!). Thanks also to the Adelaide Hills Farmers Market for making it happen 🧡.

Hello everyone! Hills Petminder is excited to let you know that we will have a marquee at the Adelaide Hills Farmers Market special event 🐕🐩🐕FEBRUARY FURSDAY 🐕🐩🐕 in Mount Barker on the evening of Thursday 29th of February!

We will be there with some of our sweetest furry friends to meet and greet and introduce ourselves to other doggy owners and pet lovers of all kinds. Bring your puppers and doggos (on a lead, of course!). There will be lots of dog and pet-themed stalls, it's going to be great! We'd love to see you there 😁
