Over 80% of dogs have active dental disease, with a lot of cases occurring below the gumline. Dental disease is painful, and it is very hard to detect as our pets drive to survive will have them eating despite the pain.

Beautiful Beans came to see Dr Kate this week for dental treatment. She went home minus a few teeth, but with a brand new Hollywood Smile. We thought she looked gorgeous in her dressing gown.

We follow best practice for veterinary dental treatments, performing complete oral health exams under anaesthetic, including full mouth xrays. We are able to perform extractions if required and recommend preventative protocols for your pets.

It always a good day when you get to meet the tiny floofs you helped bring into the world with a late night emergency caesarean! Dr Zoë loved being able to cuddle five puppies all at once!

These five Pomeranian powderpuffs and thier amazing Mama ‘Blueberry’ are all thriving. Puppies are still all looking for amazing forever homes (.outback).

Macca was our star patient today! He made his bandage change very easy by lying in his Mum’s lap. He has a small cut between his toes needing some bandaging for a week or two and then should be right as rain!

Beautiful Ivy the Australian Bulldog had all of our hearts melting with her A class puppy dog eyes.

Ivy came in to have a few problems checked out under sedation. Thankfully everything is ok and she can get back to her hectic cuddle schedule!

Lest we Forget.

As we pause to honor the brave men and women on ANZAC Day, we also remember the countless animals who served alongside them. Horses, donkeys, dogs, pigeons, and others played vital roles— taking soldiers to battle, carrying supplies, delivering messages, offering companionship, and even saving lives.

These loyal companions showed courage and endurance in the harshest conditions.
