AVBS team continues…...
Vicki Castle, AVBS Business manager, HR consultant, Quality assurance, Strategist.
Affectionately known as the ‘Sheriff’, keeping AVBS running smoothly, and ensuring quality control and regulation adherence.
Some of our dogs are extremely fearful and anxious and are known to react out of fear. Strict protocols ensure team members, patients, owners, and visitors are safe and welcomed in a homely environment.
In close to 39 working years, this is by far the most rewarding work and the most amazing team I have had the pleasure to work with. I love every one of our dog and cat patients, they always make me smile.....and know I have treats.
I feel I am making a difference to their wellbeing and consistently see first-hand the amazing progress they make with AVBS guidance and expertise and exceptional owner management.
I have been told I communicate with animals intuitively. I like to think this is true. Animal wellbeing is my passion and I see myself as their voice.
Before I started working at AVBS, I was an AVBS client and still am. I see the professionalism, empathy, dedication, and expertise our team gives to our patients and owners. I love seeing the dogs trust grow each time they attend a consult, even baby steps are a great achievement.
AVBS have been hosting University vet students for the last 8 years. We recognise the importance of educating veterinarians in complex behaviour signs and management.
I have so many wonderful memories of our patients and will miss them all. I miss them already. To the team, you are all amazing, an incredibly close-knit family. We are only a small team who successfully manage dog and cat behaviour and educate veterinary professionals and organisations across Australia. Our services will be greatly missed.
Best wishes to you all and special pats and hugs for our much- loved patients x
