Grey Gum Miniature Goats

Grey Gum Miniature Goats Member of Miniature Goats Australia- MGA In 2014 I purchased my first 2 miniature Goats and was hooked from the start. We hope you enjoy the adventure with us.

Over the past few years my 2 have grown into 10 beautiful wethers. 2016 we welcomed the first of our breeding herd, we only have a small but beautiful herd currently 4 beautiful doe and 2 stunning bucks. Now our new adventure is taking us into breeding these delightful animals and 2019 has seen our first kids arrive so our current herd of 16 is growing fast. Kids may become available so watch the page. We have had our up and downs and learnt a lot and will never stop learning.

It’s never easy to say goodbye.
Our beautiful buck Elliot left us this week after a very sudden illness.
Elliot (also known as Mr Smelliot ) is dad to most of our beautiful younger goats. He was a very cool dude, he will be missed greatly especially by the girls that he was always hassling🤦‍♀️
Thanks again to John at Campbells Vet Service and Andrew from Cedardale pet cremation for everything you do for us.
And Also our wonderful daughter Tarli, it can’t be easy for her when she has be a Vet nurse first when it’s her own animals.
Rest easy Elliot.

Today our beautiful Jet left us to join his best mate Hoot. Jet was almost 10 years old. He was always making a noise and he knew when food was coming. I should have known when it was quiet something was missing. He was a special boy always ready for a cuddle and just a happy healthy boy. He will be very much missed. Rest in peace Jet 💙

Meal prep goat style. With the constant wet weather this is a life saving for our goats. We have been using it since it became available in Australia. I use both the straight Bioworma ( available via vets we get ours from or the livamol with bioworma.

Today we spent the day cleaning houses in case the rain comes again 🤬
We have made the decision to not breed anymore as life is just too hectic.
All our goats are very happy and healthy and will be staying here with us as they are a big part of our family. Hopefully we will just fill our page with the funny antics of the grey gum herd.
Now to tell the boys and girls no naughtiness through the fences. 🤦‍♀️😜

Today we said goodbye to our Zeus. Never easy to say goodbye. Rest in peace Zeus.
