Astrid ♠️
Lovingly known as Astrid, she is the first foal of our treasured mare, Whiza Lil Cash. By SG Frozen Enterprize, she wears his striking red dun colouring, yet in both spirit and presence she carries the heart, character, and signature black 🖤 of her mother. As we prepare to send her off to ‘big school’, we’re filled with equal parts excitement and nostalgia as she begins this next chapter.

🎉🐴 Exciting news from MV! 🐴💕
We are elated to announce that MV is stepping boldly into the world of assisted reproduction with one of our beloved mares, who has been struggling with fertility. This remarkable milestone marks our very first Intra-Cytoplasmic S***m Injection (otherwise known as ICSI) journey here in Australia!
ICSI is a revolutionary technique that allows us to tackle fertility hurdles head on by directly injecting a single s***m into an egg, significantly enhancing the chances of successful conception 🌱✨ This advancement in veterinary medicine symbolises our unwavering commitment to the health and wellbeing of our horses.
Navigating fertility issues can be an emotional roller coaster, not only for our beautiful mares but also her dedicated caretakers. We are excited to welcome our new recipient mare, “Mite” to the MV family as we embark on this journey together! 🐎💕

Whiza Lil Cash 🖤
Born in 2017, Bellatrix is the 2022 Reining Australia Gold Buckle Open Futurity Champion. By Lil Joe Cash and out of Whiz Me Luck, she possesses the presence, talent, and confidence of a mare who knows she is the queen and expects to be treated as such.
Known for her signature colour black, Bellatrix has continued to shine throughout her Derby years, earning multiple Champion and Reserve Champion achievements along the way. In 2023, she produced a foal by SG Frozen Enterprise, further highlighting her quality both in and out of the show pen.

As we bid farewell to 2025 and welcome the invigorating Year of the Horse, it’s the perfect time to reflect and appreciate the incredible journey we’ve had. This transition reminds us to shed the skin of the Year of the Snake and embrace the vibrant energy and spirit the the horse brings. 🐎
I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated stable hands, Tammi, Rose, Katie,Leila and the the outstanding team at John, Angie and Madi. Your unwavering hard work and commitment to your clients horses doesn’t go unnoticed and you’ve played a personal, vital role in making this year memorable for us. 💕
A special shoutout to our 88 Reining horses who have kept us grounded, accountable and inspired with their strength and resilience. As we charge into 2026, I am excited about the new adventures that lie ahead, especially with our late 2023 foal, MV Frozen Cash Asset by SG Frozen Enterprise and our own Whiza Lil Cash, who will be starting her ‘real school’ journey. 🐎

Sheza Lil Ruf 🧡
Meet Lyra your typical chestnut mare, half sibling to Jupiter 🩷 Lyra is sired by Not Ruf At All and out of Shez A Lil Wimpy. Cheeky from the start at 8 months old she was found with a paddock injury, a deep laceration in her hind leg which led to a very long recovery. While reining didn’t quite suit her personality, she’s now stepping into her next chapter and is expecting her first foal in 2026. Each horse at MV is represented by their unique colour this mare is represented by the colour orange 🧡

MV Walla Lil Spooky Gurl 💚
Aurora, the first mare bred by 88 Reining in 2019 sired by Spook A Little and out of our own Jersey Gurl ❤️
Initially prepared for the 2024 season, she faced a serious health setback before making a long but remarkable recovery thanks to the exceptional care of and Dr Rhian Partridge. She was able to return to the show pen at the end of the competition season with and is currently in consistent work, continuing her education alongside our future reiner.
Rory is known for her can do attitude, with her signature colour being green 💚 we look forward to watching her future in the competition world.

Over the coming days, each horse will have their own introduction. Who are you most excited to meet?

First up is Jersey Gurl ❤️our very own Texas sweetheart. Imported from the USA, she is by Walla Walla Whiz and out of Ms Clara Melody. Flown over as a 2 year old, Jersey is now in regular work and proudly holds her place as the babysitter to our younger horses.
Her offspring include MV Walla Lil Spooky Gurl and MV Walla Lil Spooky Guy, carrying forward her athleticism and presence. Known for her signature red ❤️her love of bath time, and her appreciation for a good nap in a tidy stall JG truly set the foundation.
