Happy New Year!

2014 was a quiet year for the K9 PAWspective page as I have taken on a new role and can only run puppy classes through Drummoyne Veterinary Hospital at the moment. I do know some fabulous trainers that I can refer you to if you need help with one on one training or adult group training. So message me if you need help. I will post some interesting articles for you to read so please don't leave the page.

Here is my very last Puppy Tales article. I'm too busy to continue writing in 2015. I definitely took on way too much in 2014 with working two jobs, studying and writing. Something had to give so that I have more social time in 2015. So enjoy this article, it is on Loose lead walking. I hope it helps those of you who struggle with dogs that pull when walked on lead. Hi all, this is Rocky, his owner is asking for $150 for him. He is a lovely dog. Let me know if you can help out. No negative comments please, Rocky's owner is heartbroken about having to give him up, and is trying to do the right thing by him. PM me if you are interested.

"Hi my name is Rocky I'm a 16 month old chocolate Labrador, I am house trained, community trained and predominately an outside dog. I am very energetic, strong and playful and will suit a like minded owner. I will introduce myself to any dog I see, even if they don't respond in kind, I do not have an aggressive bone in my body, mmmm bones. I love to swim and eat (I'm a labrador :). I grew up on the central coast and enjoyed daily runs on the beach, unfortunately my dad has had to relocate to Sydney and long working hours and enclosed Sydney living means I am not having as much fun as I used to. My biggest strength is my lovable personality."

Drummonye Veterinary Clinic are hosting a charity hydrobath dog wash this coming Saturday to raise money for BARC (Dog) adoption. Please call them on 9719 2149 if you would like to book your dog in. Mali & Jenna are booked it ;)

I have two spots left in the Primary School Program starting on Wednesday 2nd April 2014 . The theory class will be at Drummoyne Veterinary Clinic, while the remaining 6 weeks of practical training with your dog will be held on Wednesday evenings from 645pm-745pm at Boronia Park Scout Hall. We will take the Easter week off (Wednesday 16th April), so the program should not affect any holidays that you may have planned.
