FUN FACT.
We do have security cameras in store. Suprise! Although, they aren't well hidden so it's likely not a surprise. We mainly do it for if we have a break in of a night - we know our customers would never do anything wrong by us. Y'all are amazing. Truly. How are we so lucky?
But. This last Saturday (30th) a lovely young couple in a beautiful white top with a blue floral pattern dropped in store. The Mr has accidentally grabbed one of our little creations (see photo attached - in this corner). And the silly fella has walked right out with it. Woops!
Mistakes happen. We get it. I really doubt you meant to steal it - who'd do such a thing to a small, family owned business?
Look, we're all doing it tough. So, if you did nick it - I don't blame you. They're pretty friggin cool. And the overall wholesale value isn't alot. BUT. Our time spent on them is not little. Neither is the basic understanding of general deceny, the law or the ability to press charges for anything intentionally or unintentionally taken.
So, a few options for you and blue floral top girl.
1) Bring it back if it was a mistake (benefit of the doubt here!)
2) Give us a message to chat about payment (even if it's wholesale in the event you are doing it tough - joking nature of this post aside I really do empathise with this, although it really isn't an excuse and I'm sure you know this)
3) And this one I really, really don't want to do because at your age - stupid s**t happens. And I don't want to ruin your reputation off a $30 terrarium. But I will post two different videos of you in our store and of you walking out with something you haven't paid for.
Thanks folks and thankyou to everyone who does come in that supports us, loves us and pays for their items - we see you, we appreciate you and as many of you know - we do match, discount, bulk discount and do anything we can for those that give support to us - we do the same back where we can. Hell, goto the op shop next door and get a glass vessel - we'll help you set one up! 😁
But don't take something you've not paid for. It's not cool. Oh and if anyone wants to share this to other groups etc - please don't hesitate.
