We’re heartbroken to share the passing of one of our most cherished residents - Hulk the African Lion.

Hulk and his pride were the last performing lions in NSW, adored during their years with Stardust Circus. When the circus retired, Amazement proudly built a custom-designed enclosure to welcome the pride into peaceful retirement in 2021 - where Hulk lived surrounded by love, care, and companionship.

Born with a degenerative eye disease, Hulk had one eye surgically removed by a team of specialist Veterinary professionals, only adding to his charm and gentle character. Sadly, his health declined again in recent months, and with deep love and respect, our team made the difficult decision to let him rest peacefully.

Though his mighty roar has fallen silent, his story and spirit will always remain part of the Amazement family.

To honour Hulk’s legacy, Amazement Farm & Fun Park will raise funds for Lion Guardians , matching every public donation dollar-for-dollar up to $5,000 until December 1st, 2025.

Fresh out of the oven, a Barbary Sheep. They are a vulnerable species according to the IUCN and we are incredibly excited to have this new addition to the Central Coast Zoo family.
