Solid coloured ponies At Braehead Shetland Ponies we aim to breed a true type and style of pony suitable for all aspects of the show ring from led to ridden as well as harness. We also aim to breed a pony that is not only suitable for the breed classes but also the pony hunter classes. We will only breed a limited number of foals per year, some with imported bloodli

nes. All foals will be bred for quality, conformation and temperament. We are hoping that our 2021 c**t Braehead Stirling will eventually take over the role as stud stallion so watch this space

Our 2026 foaling season is fast approaching and we will have a number of foals available at weaning this year. All if our foals come taught the following
Lead, Tie, Feet, Float, Bath, Rug, Worm, some may have been to a show or other basic desensitisation, used to clippers under their jaw line, used to the pet blower and registered with the APSB. The prices we put on our ponies reflects this and each pony is sold with their own goodies bag which includes a halter and lead rope.If you are interested please PM to be placed on our wait list

What a breeding season we have had this year
Braehead Tuppence kicked off being born on the 21-08-21
Braehead Cosmo our second darling foal was born early and sadly he crossed the rainbow bridge just shy of 3 weeks 09-10-21/29-10-21
Braehead Stirling wrapped up our season being our halloween foal 31-10-21

We are very much looking forward to the show season in 2022 and already have a few events locked in already. Our team for next year will look a little bit different for a change
Braehead Illusion will remain on the team
Braehead Tuppence will join the team as will the mother and son duo
Jerkita Sasha and
Braehead Stirling

Both Fenwick Annalisa and Braehead Tansie will be taking a break and then hopefully Tansie will be back into the swing of things come 2023.

We took Braehead Tansie and Fenwick Annalisa to Maleny show on Friday 28th May Was a beautiful day Fenwick Annalisa placed second in filly three years and under and reserve champion Braehead Tansie placed third in filly three years and under Both girls behaved beautifully Next show is Sunshine Coast at Nambour and we’ll be taking Braehead Tansie Braehead Illusion and Fenwick Annalisa
