It was a great dog school today! I had two group members turn up and we had a ball!

Footy was on, so we went for a walk around the oval and we discussed body language and how important it is to read your dog’s body language correctly so you can move them away if needed. We then did some leave it work and then played games and ripped apart boxes! One of Bailey’s favourite games, but she wasn’t there today.

I thoroughly enjoyed our lesson and look forward to our next one.

My private lesson today was with Leaha, Molly and Cedar. I have regular lessons with these guys and each time I see them, I can see that they are becoming more and more confident.

Today we worked on Cedar's anxiety when getting into the buggy and the car. We made sure that Cedar was comfortable with the training and when she wanted to move away from them, she did so on her terms. When she was ready, she came back. She did eventually go into both of them for a really short period which was amazing!

We also did some recall which Molly and Cedar aced! I look forward to our next lesson to see how they are progressing.

My private lesson today was with Clayton and Ivy in Northcliffe. Ivy is a 4 year old Golden retriever who needs a little bit of help with her anxiety.

Today we worked on her anxiety around cars and her recall. She did a really good job!

It was a fantastic lesson and I can see how hard Clayton has been working with Ivy. Keep up the good work!

My private lesson today was with Gail, Rocco and Gretel of Boyup Brook. Gretel is a 6 month old Beaglieer x. This is Gretel's second lesson.

I was so pleased to see that Gail and Rocco have been working really hard with Gretel and the difference in her was awesome! I was so proud! We did some lead work and a little bit of recall, plus helping Gretel with some over stimulation.

It was so good to see everyone again and to see Gretel more confident!

Hi everyone, I have a few spaces left for private lessons in July and August. Does anyone want to book a lesson? I will advertising on the buy and sell pages over the weekend, but I wanted to give you guys a chance first!

I have Friday 18th July, Sunday 27th July, Friday 1st August, Friday 8th August, Sunday 10th August and then several from that date forward.

Dogs are asked to cope with a lot in our world.
We don't look at how change can affect them....until it does.
We have family staying ➡️ but your dog doesn’t know that until they walk in the door.
We go on vacation ➡️ your dog has no idea they’re about to stay at a kennel or have someone new in their space.
Then we're shocked by the regression.

"It was all going so well !"
It can be the smallest of things that can undo all the progress made.
For your dog though....those "little" changes can be huge.

➡️Overnight guests

➡️Construction next door

➡️More kids visiting, esp during school holidays

➡️Taking your dog to a friend’s place

All of these are ordinary to us..... and may be overwhelming to them.
