Qualified dog trainer, behavioural consultant, government accredited (National Dog Training Federation to Level Three/dog behaviour). Eric started his passion for Dog communicating in Scotland where he grew up in the highlands, working with and training Gun Dogs and Sheep Dogs, assisting farmers and game keepers. His passion soon grew into a career and when Eric emergrated to Perth he started volu

nteering in dog rescue, which lead him to complete his National Qualifications in dog behaviour in Melbourne. He then went onto working with five major dog refuges and animal shelters with dog behavioual issues, where he gained a reputation for working with fear and aggression in dogs. Eric specialises in dog behavioral problems and training. The Dog Communicator services all areas of Western Australia. " No dog is too young or too old to learn good behaviour".

Hi guys well it’s been a few months time for a update , so moving forward I was going to retire from private clients and just focus on rescue but have decided to comprise and do two private sessions a week Monday morning and Saturday mornings, focusing on aggression and lead reactivity , and the will only be at my place in mandurah ,
as you can see am still doing the socialisation work , also going to be taking in some of the more difficult dogs from some of the rescues I work with and give the dogs some structure and raise there profile to help them find a home 😊🐶

I’m not the first person to loose there best mate so I’m not going to go on about it , and people have been asking why I’ve not been putting up any dog videos so I just want to thank all the girls in rescue for there support, and to let everyone know I’m going to take three months of working private clients with there dogs reactivity issues , I will still be doing rescue and I have a taken on a new dog who needs a lot of help ,so for now some quality time with the pack is needed ,

As we say in Scotland there's a moose loose aboot the hoose, see Scottish person for translation 😊 , big puppy moose came for a weekend break before he comes back in October for his big holiday and a little bit of naughty dog behaviour modification,

big thanks to this facility and the shelter for allowing me to give this young boy a chance , today was his last day if we hadn't got him today he wouldn't have made it , he's only young and this behaviour is very much environmental watch his journey hopefully he will be a different dog in a few weeks.

, coopers first time with dog socialising, remember normally when he sees a dog he redirects onto the handler so this is great progress , it didn't happen this quick it probably took me ten minutes to get him to this stage , and thanks to the volunteers and this can't be done without super calm dogs so well done to tonka jazzie and TT , we tried with the princess but she was terrified of him so we had to remove her .

K9 DOG RESCUE, this is cooper the boy you saw me playing tug with , the reason he currently can't be re homed is when he's in public if he sees dogs he just looses his mind and redirects on to his handler , so the tug training and the food training is just the start of redirecting his focus away from going over threshold around other dogs .

K9 DOG RESCUE, this handsome young man is frank the tank , if you work in dog rescue and someone wants to surrender there french bulldog you can guarantee it's for any one of three reasons or all three sometimes, expensive health issues , serious behavioural problems or fighting in a two dog house , frank does have some health issues which the rescue are covering and his behaviour issues are a pretty easy fix .🐶

today in southern river temp texting this big rotty for dog aggression, big guy is five and a half and dumped in lets just say strange circumstances, i've seen a lot of rescues and this is one of the nicest dogs i've come across, he's just a little bit old to come to me and be a pack dog but i'm sure there's a great home out there for Mr rodney .
