Last weekend, Gaston and Jean-Baptiste were all ready for their big moment – a meet and greet with a potential forever family… but unfortunately, no one showed up.

These two sweet boys didn’t deserve that. They’re still waiting, still hopeful, and still dreaming of a family who will show up and fall in love with them like we have.

Gaston and Jean-Baptiste are playful, energetic, and full of beans – but they’re also incredibly affectionate and people-focused. They adore human company and will happily follow you around for cuddles and attention.

They’re looking for an indoor-only home, either together as a pair or with a friendly resident cat to keep them company. They’d thrive in a family with cat-savvy children or an adult-only home. As long as there’s love and playtime, they’ll be happy!

Dave has never had a single application.

We’re not a shelter that just hands dogs and cats over to anyone. We want to ensure our animals are matched with human companions who suit their lifestyle, house, and family, to give them the best chance of thriving and creating a long-lasting, positive forever home 🏡

Sometimes, this can take time.

We have numerous dogs and cats that have been in our care for years (yes, you are reading that correctly).

Before jumping on any negative comments, it’s important to understand that adoptions and foster homes are at an all-time low. We are not the only shelter or rescue experiencing this, and it is incredibly heartbreaking 🥺

The calls, emails, and messages from people wanting to surrender or rehome their dogs and cats are endless, and there simply aren’t enough people looking to help rescue animals… but we continue to shower our furry friends with all the love we can while they wait for their people to find them.

✨Foster Update: Mosaic! ✨

Mosaic: the sweetest little shadow you will ever have.

Affectionately known as Mossy by us, this quiet, gentle girl has blossomed during her time in foster care and is now ready for a forever home.

She is affectionate on her own terms, greeting you with soft rubs, slow blinks, and her signature trills (she is not much of a meower). She is playful in the evenings, loves gentle chin scritches, and is a master of cosy sofa lounging.

While still learning to enjoy being handled, Mossy is growing more confident every day - following us around the house, kneading blankets, and gently headbutting our hands.

She would thrive in a calm home, either as the only pet or with a confident cat companion to help her continue building trust. She is food motivated, independent, and easy to care for, making her a perfect match for someone patient and experienced with timid cats.
