I'm Nicci, and I am from a little corner of the South Coast, Batemans Bay. I am dedicated to giving vulnerable cats, kittens, dogs, puppies and all animals the second chance they deserve. I created this page to share my journey as a

rescuer and the stories of the animals I help here in NSW, Australia. I’m currently working toward establishing my own rescue service, but until then, I’m here to support my community and the animals here however I can. If you come across animals in need - whether abandoned, orphaned, or unsure what to do - please reach out. I’m always happy to help directly, guide you through the next steps, or connect you with others who can assist. I have hands-on experience with neonatal kittens too, the tiniest little ones who need bottle feeds every two hours, help toileting, warmth, and round‑the‑clock care to give them a fighting chance. This page is for animal lovers, fellow rescuers, and anyone who wants to follow the ups, downs, and heartwarming moments of fostering, adoptions, reuniting with old owners and animal content that will make you smile. Advice is always welcome to be asked for, and kindness is always shared here. Together we can make a difference, one tiny paw at a time.

Hi,

If you're looking for a friendly shadow with a big heart and a personality that will keep you smiling, I might be your pup. I'm affectionate, very energetic, and once I bond with someone, I'm incredibly loyal.

Shelter life has been stressful for me. I bond closely with my people and really enjoy having them around. I'd do best with a family who is home most of the day and able to spend time with me while I adjust. Once I feel secure, I'm a loving companion who just wants to be part of everything you're doing.

I absolutely love other dogs and am very social and playful with them. Having a friendly, patient dog in my new home to keep me company would be amazing, especially when my humans need to step out.

Because I love my people so much, I can get a little worried when they leave. With understanding, dedication, training, daily exercise and a positive routine, I'll learn that everything is okay. I can also jump quite high, so secure and well-maintained fencing would be important for me.

I’m untested with children, cats, livestock, pocket pets etc - Moruya Animal Hospital | Experienced Vets | Dr. Kerry Jackson has my health record, including a recent vaccination and health check. They think I may be a dalmatian and/or boxer cross.

Three year old Clover is gentle companion looking for a quiet place to call her home.
With the most beautiful markings and the sweetest squeak in the world it's hard not to fall in love with her. She is a calm girl who appreciates alone time and routine; the more you respect her space the more loving and affectionate she is. Clover is very cuddly and after some quiet days and rest she will end up a purring loaf in your bed in no time.

Clovers first year of her life is unknown, the past two years she has lived in bodalla with a young couple and another female cat. Due to her owners moving overseas and my resident cat being WAY too playful, she is looking for a new place she can feel safe and comfortable. Clover would suit a home being the only pet or in a home with calm gentle cats that understand she just likes to feel safe and not jumped on. She isn't a fan of young children as they can be very overwhelming for her. She would be amazing for an elderly person looking for a beautiful companion for company or a nice quiet family that will adore and love her.

Pixie and Shadow update ❤️

Look at Pixie enjoying some pats in bed (and doing dolphin jump on cue!) Shadow is still feeling quite unsure but she is starting to lean into pats and watching the other cats. Pixie is starting to come out little bits at a time... give her a day or two and she will be exploring and demanding more pats. Shadow won't be far behind and I was told she's even more affectionate than Pixie! Can't wait to watch them both open up 😍😍😍

(Shadow is on the bright pink rug at the beginning, Pixie is the one in bed demanding pats!)

Gibblet never stops amazing me. Being blind has never stopped her!

She has been learning the wall mounts in my room as she loves being high up and hearing everything from above. It starts off with me tapping things and being there as support and to guide her, but she does all the work. I let her find her way as she needs to learn to catch herself if she falls or learn her footing to get out of different situations incase I'm not there to catch her. But everytime she does something, I am in ore of her. She amazes me every single day.

Asher and Gavin went to their new home today together! Oh how i am already missing Gavin's cheeky personality and funny ways which always made me laugh. And Ashers sweet ways when he would politely ask for pats. They are like yin and yang ☯️ so different... but they complete one another. Their new mum has the best of both worlds, affection and cuddles from Asher and endless entertainment, chaos and laughter from Gavin.
Couldn't be happier. Wishing you both the most beautiful life together ❤️

Hazel 🥹 she is waiting for that perfect gentle quiet home with a person who will give her time, kindness and love, who hopefully has a cat or more to love as she is so amazing with other cats and kittens! She would be the purrrrfect companion for another gentle loving cat or a multi cat home 😻

Hazel keeps out of the other cats way if they need and gently approaches in hopes they give her a head bump and rub, then she looks at them with so much love while hoping to get love back.

With people she needs patience and time to trust but once she builds that confidence with you she lets down those walls and lets you in. Hazel had a rough start to life living on the streets scared, sick, skin and bones while raising kittens and doing her best to stay safe.

Little by little she has opened up and started to realise how much she has longed to be safe and loved. If you have a lot of love, patience, a gentle touch, cats who would love a gentle companion for company and to adore, and a companion for you to watch blossom into something special.... then maybe your the home Hazel is waiting for?
