⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “2 years on and still very happy with the system.”

That’s Jason and his setup story is a good one. 🐕

He cut the fence cable by accident, and he says it was “super easy to fix”. He’s since added a second collar for his new dog.

He also carries a second roll of wire when he travels, so he can rig up holiday apartments with no dog escapes. 🏖️

And on support? “The Dog Line support has been wonderful always.” Jason has also bought two EZ900 training systems through us.

Every yard and every dog is different, so real customer experiences can help when you’re weighing up a containment system.

Look for the details that matter to your situation:

How the system was set up, and if it suits the property, and what support the owner received.

We’ll keep sharing genuine customer feedback to help you make a more informed choice. 💛

Day 3 of Puppy Training. 🐶⚽

The book says, “Be consistent.”

The puppy says, “I’m 6 months old and I just chewed a shoe.” 👟🐕

Puppies need patience, practice and plenty of repetition.

Training tools help, but they don’t replace training.

What’s the funniest thing your puppy has done?

The fence isn’t the whole solution. 🐶

Installing a dog containment system is step one.

Teaching your dog what it means is step two, and it’s where the magic happens.

Dogs don’t understand a new boundary overnight.

Here’s how to set yours up for success:

✅ Introduce the boundary slowly and calmly
✅ Follow your system’s training plan, step by step
✅ Keep sessions short, positive and consistent
✅ Get everyone in the household on the same page

Give your dog time. Skipping steps might feel faster, but patience is what builds a boundary your dog truly understands.

Setting up a hidden dog fence?

Check these three basics first.

Before introducing your dog to the boundary, make sure you’ve checked:

✅Wire route: The boundary wire follows your planned layout.

✅System installation: The dog fence wire, surge protection box and transmitter box is installed according to your model’s instructions.

✅ Correct Receiver Collar fit: The receiver collar fits as directed by the manufacturer. And batteries properly installed.

Take the time to introduce the boundary system to your dog.

Follow the supplied training steps.

Installing the fence is only part of the process your dog still needs to learn where the boundary is.

Instead of starting with “Which collar is best?”

Ask yourself, “What am I trying to teach my dog?”

Recall, barking management and boundary training are different jobs.

The right tool depends on the situation, the dog and the plan.

A clear goal makes it easier to compare features and avoid buying equipment that doesn’t suit your needs.

When your dog keeps escaping, the way out might not be obvious.

Check gates, fence corners, low spots and driveway access. Watch for what happens before your dog escapes.

A passing dog or person could be the trigger.

Finding the escape point is the first step towards keeping your dog safe.

Save this post and check your dog’s usual escape route.

Choosing a Remote Trainer: Start With Your Dog

The right remote trainer depends on more than the model name.

Consider your dog’s size and temperament, your training goals, the range you need.

Are you training for one dog or more, the preferred controls, battery and water-resistance requirements.

Make this shortlist based on how you’ll actually use it.

Check each model’s specifications and instructions, and ask for help if you’re unsure which features matter.
