We are very lucky businesses like yours donate so we not only can rescue animals, but we can also help stop the number of unwanted animals breeding in our town. Not every business can outlay a huge amount to sponsor charities but these moments change an animal’s life forever and we appreciate your donation.
This program could not go ahead without people like you have an open mind that we aren’t necessarily giving someone a free service we are stopping dogs and cats from getting pregnant and having more animals that can’t find forever homes.
Our new annual April community desexing program is making a difference. We are excited about this new local program, not only is it run by volunteers with no government funding it is locally owned vet clinics helping us make it possible and locally owned businesses that have reached out to make Angela's dream possible to desex 30 animals in April. This is where businesses can claim a tax deduction and we can help prevent unwanted litters in the community.
The biggest reason people don’t desex their pets? The cost. 💰 What people don’t consider is that litter after litter of unwanted puppies or kittens also comes at a huge cost to our community. 💰💰💰
We’re calling on local businesses to make a tax-deductible donation to help us desex 30 animals in April. This will result in about 180 less animals being born, and likely unwanted and abandoned, in our town every year.
We started this rescue too make a difference and we are hoping this program changes the lives of animals and humans alike .

As the sun sets on this first day of Feb and the full moon rises, our hearts are full of gratitude for the life we have here at Walkermile.

The pups are growing and doing remarkably well with the heat, rest assure they have a couple of swimming options whenever they feel the need to cool off, and they let us know when it’s time for the aircon.

Auggie spent a lovely afternoon with his little friend Ruby, they (and the kids) went swimming and exploring down at Majors Creek, a beautiful freshwater creek not far from home.

All freshly bathed and groomed now ready for the week ahead, we hope you all have a good one 🐾
