🚐🐾 Travelling with dogs? Organisation is key!

Whenever I head away with the dogs, I make sure I’m prepared well before we leave. Feeding raw on the road is easy when you’ve got a plan!

I pack:
✅ Pre-made meals
✅ Raw bones
✅ Dehydrated treats
✅ Pre-cut Prime treats for training

The result? One fridge for the humans and one fridge for the dogs! 😬😂

It might seem a little over the top, but having everything organised means I can spend less time worrying about feeding and more time enjoying the adventure with the dogs.

Who else packs half their vehicle for their dogs when they travel? 🙋‍♀️🐕

🐾 Wednesdays are my freezer restock day! 🐾

One thing people quickly learn when they feed raw is that freezer space becomes very valuable! 😅

Every Wednesday I restock my freezer at home to make sure the dogs are set for the week ahead. Meals, bones, training treats, and a few special extras all get packed away ready to go.

It might look a little excessive to some people, but when you’ve got multiple dogs to feed, being organised makes life so much easier! Plus, there’s something satisfying about opening a full freezer knowing the dogs are sorted. 🥰

One of the most common questions we get from new puppy owners is:

"How old does my puppy need to be before they can have a bone?"

The answer might surprise you! 😊

Puppies can safely enjoy appropriate raw meaty bones from the day they come home, provided they are healthy, supervised and the bone is suitable for their size.

The most important thing isn't necessarily your puppy's age—it's choosing a bone that is appropriate for the size of your puppy. 🐾

A tiny 8-week-old puppy doesn't need a giant beef brisket bone, just like a large breed puppy may quickly outgrow smaller options.

Some great puppy-friendly options include:
