🐾 IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR PET OWNERS WITH MICROCHIPS
If your pet’s microchip is registered with HomeSafeID, you’ll need to transfer their details to another national pet registry as they are shutting down.

What to do:
1️⃣ Check your pet’s microchip details on www.petaddress.com.au.
2️⃣ If your pet is listed under HomeSafeID, you can transfer your microchip details to another provider including Australasian Animal Registry, Central Animal Records, Petsafe etc. Visit their websites for details.

🐶🐱 Have you registered your pet with council? A council registration tag helps us quickly identify and reunite you with your pet if they go missing. Registration also ensures your pet’s details are accurately maintained each year, reducing the risk of outdated information or third-party complications.

🌟 Important Announcement 🌟

As of 31st December, Meows and Purrs Pet Care will be closing its doors. This decision wasn’t made lightly, but with Natasha and I both busy with work, it has become increasingly difficult to juggle all our commitments. Those of you with bookings with us, we are still committed to completing these.

We have had an absolute blast caring for all your beloved fur babies over the years. It’s been a privilege to be part of their lives and yours, and we will truly miss you all.

Thank you for trusting us and allowing us to share in the care of your precious pets. We are so grateful for the memories and connections we’ve made.

🐾 Did you know? Cats have a special scent gland located on the roof of their mouth called the Jacobson’s organ! When they open their mouths and curl back their lips, they’re actually “tasting” scents in the air – it’s called the Flehmen response. Fascinating, right?

This week, we’re especially grateful to be caring for one of our favorite furry friends and one of the original Meows and Purrs family members! It’s always a joy to spend time with our long-time clients. 🐱💛
