Available with or without a Loosebox
All paddocks are spacious, well-maintained, and horse-safe

At Dalewood Agistment, your horse’s safety and comfort come first.

We use 5-foot post and hardwood rail fencing with electric stand-offs — the safest setup for horses — because peace of mind matters. Our paddocks are never overstocked or overused, so there's always clean, weed-free grass for your horse to graze year-round.

With private and shared paddock options available, Dalewood offers a space where horses can relax, move, and thrive.

Dalewood Agistment is 90 acres in total and is situated in beautiful Macclesfield, 7kms from the heart of Emerald in the Dandenong Ranges. Macclesfield is a quiet suburb with a large horse population. From Dalewood’s front gate it is only a 300m ride to Macclesfield Pony Club, which has a large riding arena free to use every day (exc. club days). There are many off-road horse trails in the area, these also start right at the front gate.

Shared agistment at Dalewood consists of two x 35 acre large paddocks, both with spring fed dams. We never overstock these paddocks and only have a maximum of 15 horses in each. This gives each horse a little over two acres each on which to graze.

There are natural tree areas for shelter and shade in each paddock for the horses. Our horses do not need to be supplement fed over winter or summer. Please keep in mind some horses as they get older and do not cope as well, may need supplement feeding. Swapping to private paddocks over winter is a very good option for older horses that do not cope in cold weather.

Our shared paddocks are not serviced but we do have an added option of catching your horse for the farrier/vet/dentist.
