🚨 Paws-itively Important Advice from a Moodle Lover! 🚨
As a small-scale, ethical Moodle breeder, I want to help you avoid pet scams! Finding your furry family member should be joyous, not a nightmare. Sadly, scammers prey on eager pet parents. Here are BIG red flags when looking for your new best friend:
🚩 "Too good to be true" prices: If a popular breed is impossibly low, run! Ethical breeding involves significant investment. Scammers use low prices to lure you.
🚩 No opportunity to meet in person: A reputable breeder always welcomes visits (or video calls) to see puppies with their mother in a loving environment. Excuses about not visiting? Suspicious!
🚩 Demanding upfront payment via untraceable methods: Be wary of Western Union, gift cards, or bank transfers before meeting the puppy. Reputable breeders use secure methods.
🚩 Vague answers to questions: Ask about parents, health history, temperament. If they can't answer clearly or dodge questions, huge red flag.
🚩 Pressuring for a quick decision: Ethical breeders want the best homes and understand you need time. High-pressure tactics are common scammer strategies.
🚩 No health guarantees or contracts: A responsible breeder provides a health guarantee and clear contract.
🚩 Communication issues/poor English: Many scammers operate from overseas with inconsistent or poorly written communication.
I pour my heart into raising happy, healthy Moodles. It breaks my heart to see people exploited. Please, do your research, ask tough questions, and trust your gut! Your future furry friend deserves a safe start. ❤️🐾
