The amazing team at Performa Ride came through with the goods again 🤩🤩

It’s no secret that I live in my PerformaRides 😍 but yesterday I had a delivery of my favourite print shirt (Arctic Fox which was is still on sale for a few more days) with mine and Mark’s logos on the back. I have a few shirts for Mark's Mechanical already but this is my first with my Emmerson Park logo and I cried happy tears when I saw it. 😍😍😍

It was such a perfect day so I celebrated with an Angel training/dance session and posing to show the original inspiration for the logo.

Angel is so perfect look at how in sync we are. 😍🥰 Love this big golden queen.

Emmerson Park has weathered the storms and is now forging ahead with rebuilding flood affected fence lines as well as upgrades to existing paddocks and adding new paddocks.

Throughout the flood crisis our owners were kept apprised of the ever changing conditions and all horses were removed from affected paddocks to higher safe ground well before the flood waters arrived to threaten them.

If you want your horse to receive the highest level of care in their retirement we are now taking expressions of interest for spelling horses on pasture.

We also have a rare space available in one of our part board fed paddocks.
Applications are invited for owners who are looking for a retirement spot with extra care. Paddock will be shared with one gentle Clydesdale mare living out her retirement in a luscious five acre paddock with horse safe fencing and natural shelter. Paddock includes a dam with gentle incline for the water loving equines and all horses receive regular attention in the form of treats, love, brushes and photoshoots, with updates regularly sent to owners.

The above spaces are best suited to long term residents however short term accomodation spots often become available and are snapped up without ever being advertised. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you would like to be added to a wait list either for short term spelling with both fed and pasture options or long term pasture spelling.

Rare space available in one of our part board fed paddocks at $110/per week plus feed.

Applications are invited for owners who are looking for a retirement spot with extra care. Paddock will be shared with one gentle Clydesdale mare looking for an equally friendly companion.
The successful applicant will get to enjoy retirement in a luscious five acre paddock with horse safe fencing and natural shelter as well as a gently inclined dam for the water loving equine.

All horses are checked regularly by experienced on site horse people and regular attention is lovingly dished out in the form of treats, brushes, pats and photo shoots.
Owners are always welcome to visit their horses but for those who live further away or lead busy lives regular updates are provided showing horses condition as well as anecdotes about their latest horsey adventures.

In addition to this Emmerson Park is always improving its facilities with quality of life and care being the main focus for all residents.
Walk in walk out stables are being added in the near future for paddocks that don’t already have them as well as upgraded wash bay facilities, a remodelled tack room and additional alleyways.

Current facilities include, enclosed round yard, grass arena with white competition surround, jumping area, tack room, feed shed, several wash bays and walk in walk out stables in select paddocks as well as horse safe fencing and automatic waterers throughout.

Getting back to introducing the paddocks, this is our beautiful Pemberley, so named for its glorious view over the dam towards the house.
It’s midway through a revamp and rest at the moment. It’s been sprayed and rested and slashed and now it’s having some more rest and will get a dash of lime to bring out its best before over seeding next year.

This paddock is one of our part board paddocks due to its proximity to the house and boasts 5 acres of delicious grass, the perfect dam for summertime splashes and a broad tape yard.

This one is rarely available and not available at this time.
Can’t wait to show off it’s lush growth in the spring!

Emmerson Park was lucky enough to have experienced Agronomist, Martin Mead, visit us to assess our paddocks post drought and give some advise on pasture quality and the best way to improve it.

Happy to say our spelling paddocks got a five star rating with the option to improve to ‘fodder factory’ level but the reassurance that our management as it is is and the quality of the paddocks are perfect for providing abundant feed for the amount of horses we cater to.

Over the next few years we will be improving the part board paddocks up near the house so they can become even more productive and resilient against future droughts.

Currently our part board paddocks are full but there are still a few spaces available for spelling/retirement if anyone is looking for a higher level of care for their spellers/retirees.

Just another few photos showing off Lallybrochs crazy long grass and the amazing watagans backdrop!

There’s no space available in Lallybroch but Rohan and Kelsingra, our two fifteen acre spelling paddocks are rested and ready to go for a new herd of residents ready for their retirement or a break.

Spelling starts at $75 a week per horse. Includes personalised care, regular cuddles, pats and attention from experienced horse people in family environment and regular photo updates. Small herd environment, with stricy limited numbers to ensure pasture quality and

Continuing on with the introduction of paddock names, next one is Lallybroch.

This is one of our most exclusive paddocks with three permanent residents. The grass is so long and thick in this 15 acre paddock that the smallest and newest member of Lallybroch’s herd is often hidden completely by the lush grass!

Lallybroch got its name because it was originally intended to be the site of our main house with the existing house as a secondary home for my Mum. However like Jamie Fraser of the Outlander books the government or in our case the council just keeps getting in the way of us living where we want. 😉

Two of the ponies that call Lallybroch home are our oldest residents. Two perfectly mischievous 33 year olds who are not as innocent as their sweet little faces will have you believe. Serial escape artists and mischief makers, in their spare time they enjoy opening gates, breaking into feed or hay sheds, and turning sprinklers on.
