We're noticing a few new followers, so thought maybe we should post a throwback and introduction all over again!

We are a family run breeding and training farm based in the South of Adelaide, SA. Currently owned by Roy and Marjorie Hinkley and under the caretakership of Russell and Kerry-Anne March 😁 With this leadership, it gives up-and-coming opportunities to future generations where everyone who wants to get involved can, which creates a massive family team. You may see Russell and Kerry-Anne's son, Kristian very hands-on with training and his sisters, Maddy and Bella, there at every major show when they're available. We are very proud and blessed to have this multi-generational opportunity.

Sometimes, we get reminded again of the beautiful temperament that Clydesdales are known for, and then we get blown away some more by how fantastic the working attitude of these horses are.

Credit here, goes to Ross Blewit at Wheelabarraback Clydesdale Stud. The easygoing, curious and eager-to-learn nature of George, who not only wore winkers, a belly band and long reins for the first time, but calmly and confidently managed the start of his education.

We greatly look forward to what George and Roy will pick up, and to see them in harness by the end of this year 😁🐴

A lot of hands and work go into being ready to present in show.
Washing, brushing, plucking feather, plaiting mane and tail, harnessing up, final checks, hitching to cart, and waiting for the marshalls to call us into the arena. Aside from washing the horse, total preparation takes about an hour and a half.
This week, we've had up to 10 family members helping out during the show and many more friends come to say hi! 🎉 If you see us, take a photo and feel free to pop in for a pat!

Wheelabarraback King George is eagerly awaiting your pats at the Royal Show this year! 💕 He and his future pair mate, Glenquarry King Hinkley "Roy" are sticking around for exposure to the shows sights and sounds while Wheelabarraback Flash Bonnie struts her stuff in harness. 😁🎉 We'll be very excited for the two lads to potentially be competing next year!
