🐂 Our thoughts go out to the Torrens Creek grazier who’s just lost nearly 40 head of young cattle to blackleg a devastating blow for any producer.

With the good season we’ve had, it’s a timely reminder for all North West graziers to stay on top of animal health risks. Recent rain and disturbed soil can bring diseases like blackleg out of hiding, and it can wipe out a whole mob in just a couple of days.

I’d take Buffel and Mitchell Grass Downs over whiskey and gold any day. Big few days spent Willis Spaying heifers around Longreach & Morella, Qld.
A mob of 400 heifers we spayed at the end of April have averaged 1.5kg/day since, grazing similar country. Phenomenal season.
