Please note that we'll be out of office on Monday, 17 August. Why? Because one of our team has found their forever person and we're all attending the grand finale of their love story!

We'll be recovering from alot of celebrating, shedding of happy tears, and enlightening others with our epic dance moves. Normal service will resume on Tuesday 18th August.

Is your dog a "p**p shuffler"? 🚶‍♂️💩

If your dog walks forward, paces, or shuffles their feet while trying to find the perfect spot to p**p, it might not just be a funny habit.

It could actually be a cry for help.

The "p**p squat" is the most physically demanding posture your dog adopts all day. It requires deep bending of the hips and knees, and heavy strain on the lower spine.When a dog has arthritis, holding that deep squat causes active joint pain. Shuffling forward is their way of trying to shift their weight to escape the pressure.

Key signs of potty-time discomfort to watch for:
❌ Unstable Squatting: Trembling legs or failing to hold a steady posture.
❌ Hunched Spine: Excessive, painful rounding of the back.
❌ Anxious Rushing: Pacing frantically to get it over with quickly.

How you can help them today: Make sure they have great footing traction! Stepping on wet grass, slick tiles, or gravel makes them anxious about falling. Guide them to flat, dry grass or use a non-slip outdoor mat.

Dr Cassie was called to an emergency kidding today!! Two heads and one leg presented!

After untangling the rush hour traffic and delivering Baby1 + Baby2.... always check for "Tears and Spares".... hello baby 3.

What was a shock, is the 4th little head bopping up at the next "tears and spares" check! Mumma goat has done very well to have 4 healthy babies. The last little boy was a little stressed so will be monitored closely.

Four kids delivered in under 10mins might be a new record for us here at Meliora.
