🐾 A very special delivery at the clinic! 🐾

Chloe visited us for an elective caesarean, as she was expecting just one precious puppy 💖

On arrival, we performed an ultrasound to check that bub was happy and stable, along with a progesterone test to ensure Chloe’s levels were safe for surgery — everything lined up perfectly.

One beautiful chocolate and white baby girl was delivered safely 💕

Mum and bub are both doing wonderfully, and we couldn’t be happier with this smooth and successful outcome. A very special day for everyone involved! 🐶✨

Beau's Story ✨
🐾Beau is a 12½ year old Staffy who had really started slowing down due to arthritis. His family had tried multiple different treatments and supplements over time, but he was still struggling - especially on walks, which he eventually stopped enjoying altogether.

After starting Cenmaris® GSM just one month ago, Beau's family have noticed such a big difference

💚 He's back going for walks again, moving more comfortably, and enjoying life so much more. Not only is he more active and happier, but his coat is looking shinier too!

We absolutely love seeing senior pets feeling more comfortable and getting back to doing the things they love 🐾🤍

Osteoarthritis in Pets - The Signs You Might Be Missing

Osteoarthritis (OA) isn't just an "old age problem" - it's a chronic, painful condition that can affect both dogs and cats &, often much earlier than people realise

⚠️Common Causes
• Age-related wear and tear
• Previous injuries (e.g. cruciate ligament tears)
• Developmental issues (hip/elbow dysplasia)
• Obesity (extra strain on joints)
• Genetics and breed predisposition

⚠️ Easily Missed Signs
Many pets don't limp or cry - instead, they show subtle behaviour changes:
Reluctance to jump up or down
Stiffness after rest (especially in the morning)
Slowing down on walks or lagging behind
Sleeping more or seeming "less playful"
Difficulty with stairs or geting into the car
Changes in grooming behaviors
Irritability or behaviour changes when touched

❄️As the weather gets colder, artritis signs often become more noticeable — you might see your pet becoming stiffer, slower, or less willing to move.
& If your pet is "just slowing down," it could actually be pain - and pain can be managed.

⚠️What to do
Early intervention makes a huge difference. Treatment options may include:
• Weight management
• Joint supplements
• Pain relief medications
• Lifestyle and home modifications

🩺 Noticing any of these signs?
Bring your pet in for a check-up so we can help keep them comfortable this winter.
