I thought it was time for a puppy update. The babies are now 4weeks old, and their little personalities are really starting to show. They have started on a raw diet currently consisting of fresh Turkey mince and Free-range eggs as this is gentle on their developing digestive systems and CEN Collagen to support their joint, bone and muscle development and ensure their skin and coats are healthy. They also had their 4 week weigh-in and worm treatment. All 8 are growing consistently, with each putting on around 1kg +/- 200gms.
The puppies have now been introduced to the outside world and love a play on the grass. Toilet training started last week, and I am happy to report they are all learning very quickly.
We had the first few families come out and meet the puppy family and our other Dogues over the weekend. Delilah said hello from a distance as she is currently in full protection mode, while Ramos, currently in the running for father of the year, supervised the visits 🥰. I am very pleased to say that the puppies whose homes have been confirmed are very fortunate to be going home with some truly special families in the next few weeks.
Yesterday afternoon the 3 boys, Baby Blue, Black and Red (Ramos Jnr) along with their sister Miss Cotton Candy, experienced their first car ride and brief trip into Bunnings to get some sand for their play area. Aside from the delays from swooning Bunnings staff, the trip was a success, and they handled the experience incredibly well. With all 4 being so relaxed and happy just to sit and take in the experience.
The other 4 babies, Miss Purple, Miss Green, Miss Yellow and Miss Turquoise are heading out today for a visit to CEN Nutrition HQ to get some more supplements to complement their raw diet and ensure their continuing growth and development.
