Yesterday we caught up with Zeus (red puppy from our 2025 litter). At 10 months old Zeus is a whopping 65kg, he is maturing beautifully and is the spitting image of his father, Ramos.

Zeus is living his absolute best life with his half sister Bonnie (aka Lulu from our 2023 litter) and his lovely family, being hand fed like a king. Zeus continues to be fed a completely raw diet complemented by supplements from

The reunion between him and Sadie went well, they took a moment to work each other out but picked up where they left off the last time they were together. Seeing the two big pups together again was lovely and as can be seen from the photos Sadie is holding her own at 55kg and still growing.

With their first birthday approaching in the middle of May we are working on arranging a first birthday celebration and litter reunion!

Another belated post of Mina & Ramos's December litter. These gorgeous photos were taken by our good friend Alex Morrison when the babies were just 5wks old. It was a very hot summer and the babies loved water from a very young age! To the point where they frequently slept in their water bowls and each night they would use almost 4L of waterπŸ₯°!

It's been a loooooong time between posts and I need to apologise to our loyal Redsovereign followers, puppy families and even those who drop in from time to time, for the lack of puppy content. Raising this litter has been an absolute labour of love, and a huge undertaking, with around the clock supervision and supplementing from very early on, to making massive amounts of BARF and hand feeding 11 babies three times daily. I've done my best at keeping the stories regular, with as many snippets of their progress and development as possible, but rest assured there will be lots of retrospective posts to make up for the gaps so we can look back together and enjoy the somewhat late bloom of our biggest litter ever!

These photos were taken by our good friend and photographer extraordinaire .09102 when our babies were a few days short of being 7weeks old. Enjoy! πŸ₯°

5 weeks old already the time is really flying! The puppies are beginning to catch up in size and their personalities are really starting to show. They are enjoying more time outside on the grass and playing in water. They have tried beef tracheas and turkey necks and are enjoying three meals per day, consisting of fresh Turkey, beef, sweet potato, home grown duck eggs, blueberries and spinach, along with supplements from including Multivitamin, Collagen, Digestive Plus and CEN Oil to give them the best possible start.

With our December being so hectic, we have only just begun the huge job of confirming families for our babies. Some of the puppies met their new families over the weekend πŸ₯° If you previously expressed an interest in a puppy and are still waiting to hear back from me, please by all means, confirm your interest via message, email or phone 😊

We have some very sad news to share. Our beautiful girl Cara gave birth to two very big (845gms & 785gms) beautiful boys late Boxing Day night. Sadly however, both appear to have passed away a few days ago before being born πŸ’” We are devastated by the loss and have no explanation for why this has happened. Cara remained healthy and well throughout her pregnancy and had the best possible raw diet and CEN supplements, the puppies were due to arrive yesterday (so not overdue), and there were no signs of an infection.

Being such an emotional Dogue, Cara has taken the loss hard, and spent the following 40 plus hours not wanting to leave the whelping box, clearly mourning her babies πŸ’”Β It's a devastating blow, to lose a much anticipated litter, especially as this same pairing was unsuccessful earlier in the year and also following the unexpected loss of three puppies from Mina's litter recently. But mostly we are heartbroken for Cara. She has sat and longingly watched on for countless hours as I have helped Mina and syringe fed her puppies. At one point Cara even attempted to feed Mina's puppies before she had become a mumma herself πŸ’”

I think this experience highlights the highs and lows and fragility of life. The joyous celebrations of new life and the heartbreak of life lost and mourning for what could have been 🀍🀍

Merry Christmas everyone! From our extended Dogue family to you and yours πŸŽ„πŸŽπŸ’«
Enjoy the baby photos 😍

The babies are continuing to become more robust and independent and have begun the transition onto solids, meaning I will now be able to provide more regular updates of their journey and share plenty of puppyspam as we farewell 2025 and prepare to welcome 2026.

Two weeks old now and the babies are doing well. Their eyes are opening, teeth buds are beginning, ears are starting to open and they are becoming more mobile. New life, full of beauty and wonder, there is nothing quite so beautiful but also so fragile. It's been two very intense weeks, with around the clock supervision and assistance to first time mum Mina. Feed rotations, hours and hours of supplement feeding via syringe and even help with stimulating the puppies for toileting. Although the willingness is there, Mina's mothering instinct simply isn't and she has needed help every step along the way.
So these first two weeks, which are usually full of joy and wonder, have been spent tirelessly working to keep the litter alive. It's a very different journey to what we saw with Delilah's final litter earlier this year. As we begin to come out the other side of this fragile period and the puppies are a little more robust, I have only just started to be able to appreciate just how lovely they are and I thought it was the perfect time to introduce them individually.

Exciting news! Mina's puppies have arrived! With the due date been and gone, we took Mina for a check up this morning and after careful consideration and consultation with our vet, decided to do a caesarean. 14 babies were born, sadly from being overdue, 1 little boy had already passed away, however the other 13 are all healthy and doing well.  It has been an enormous day and Mina has taken to mothering exceptionally well and is doing an amazing job as a first time mumma ❀️
Stay tuned for plenty more puppyspam over the coming days and weeks πŸ₯°

Day 64 now, and Mina is still pregnant! As the anticipation grows and we watch her every move expectantly, I thought it might be fun to guess how many puppies are in that big belly of hers. Drop your guess in the comments! Mine is 10 😳

The photos don't quite do it justice... she is big!
