Sydney CDI

Djivin and Kathryn travelled down to Sydney CDI last Saturday to compete in the AOR Advanced classes.

Djivin always puts her best hoof forward. Despite a couple of mistakes and torrential rain in the second test, they placed 3rd in the AOR Advanced 5.2 and 4th in the AOR Advanced 5.3 to finish a close 3rd overall in the AOR Advanced pointscore.

Events like this always take a village. A huge thank you to Emma for travelling down to Sydney with Kathryn and to Tanya/Jeremy for helping with girls at their gymnastics competition.

A massive thank you to Suzanne and Kelato Animal Health for cheering Kathryn on and helping Djivin feel her absolute best. Thank you also to The Dressage Diva for their support in the best competition wardrobe for Kathryn.

Thank you very much to the Sydney CDI committee for a fantastic event and to the amazing sponsors for their support.

Thank you to Rodney’s Photography for the photos.

Great start to the competition year at Alexander Park Dressage Club.

Timeesa Park Donatello had two lovely preliminary tests to place 2nd and 3rd in the open classes.

Willimiens Black Opal also had two good tests in the Advanced to place 3rd in both open classes.

Both horses always try their best. Recovery on the hot day was made easier thanks to Kelato Animal Health Muscleguard and Enduralyte paste.

November competition recap:

On 9th November, Jeremy and Timeesa Park Donatello competed at Singleton Dressage Championships. ‘Noodle’ scored 69% to place 2nd in the Open Preliminary 1.1 and 68% to place 3rd in the Open Preliminary 1.2. He was awarded Open Preliminary Reserve Champion. We were very happy with how Noodle performed in his tests and how well behaved he was in the busy warm up.

On 23rd November, we went to Central Coast Dressage. Willimiens Black Opal had her second Advanced start to place 3rd in both open classes. Jeremy was very happy with Willimiens Black Opal - she improves with every competition and got each flying change!

Kathryn and Djivin placed 2nd in the PSG. They also competed in their first Inter1 to place 1st. Djivin always tries her best even if she is a little too enthusiastic to show her flying changes!

Thank you very much to both Singleton Dressage and Central Coast Dressage committees for wonderful competitions.

Thank you to Kelato Animal Health for helping our horses look and feel fantastic. We were definitely glad to have Kelato Muscleguard and Kelato Enduralyte paste on hand in the hot weather.

Thank you to Half Steps photography for the photos at Central Coast Dressage

Lovely to see the sun out at Salt Ash for Alexander Park Dressage competition weekend.

We had a great day with Timeesa Park Donatello from Colouredhorses home of Timeesa Park Friesian Sporthorses. He behaved very well at his second outing in a new environment to place 5th in the official Preliminary 1.2.

Willimiens Black Opal had her first Advanced start to place 5th in the Open Advanced 5.1 and Open Advanced 5.2 classes.

Kathryn and Djivin also competed to win the Advanced 5.2 scoring over 67% and 5th in the PSG.

We were very grateful to have the Kelato Animal Health EnduraLYTE paste and Muscleguard on hand to help the horses recover after a hot day.

Thank you to The Dressage Diva for Kathryn’s new competition tights and beautiful stock.

Thank you very much to Kelato Animal Health for their support and Alexander Park Dressage committee for a wonderful competition. Thank you to Arcadia Images for the photo of Djivin.
