We had a great get-together with some of the 2025 pups to celebrate their first birthday. Bec, Fearne, Bobbie, Tui and Moana all have their unique quirks. Big bro Boo got to play with some of his little sisters and Mama Tai was yapping with excitement. It took a while for it to all sink in, but eventually she seemed to show genuine recognition that these were her pups. A great afternoon ❤️🐾

They say a dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself. But if you look at the silver hair on the man and the intelligent eyes and soft, flowing coat of the dog in this viral side-by-side, you’ll see that the feeling is 100% mutual.

Sixteen years ago, it was just a simple moment—a man in his car, younger, carefree, wearing his shades. Resting gently on his shoulder was his little Border Collie. Bright eyes, sharp mind, that beautiful coat, and that quiet trust only a young dog can give. Nothing fancy, nothing planned… just love, sitting right there in the passenger seat.

Fast forward 16 years.

The man now carries time in his gray beard and gentle smile. Life has happened. Days passed, seasons changed—but one thing never moved.

Right there, in the same place… his Border Collie.

No longer a tiny pup, but an old soul with a slightly silvered coat, attentive gaze, and eyes that have seen it all. Still resting his chin on the same shoulder. Still choosing the same human. Every single day.

Through 5,840 days of life—good days, hard days, quiet rides, and long silences—this Border Collie never left his side.

And if you’ve ever loved a Border Collie, you already know… this isn’t just loyalty.
