🚨 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘃𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗿𝘂𝘀 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁 🚨
Is your dog up to date on their parvovirus vaccination? 💉
Parvovirus is currently on the rise across Tasmania, and we’re seeing the impact here in our local community.
Since late March, there’s been a significant increase in cases, particularly in dogs who aren’t fully vaccinated. It’s a highly contagious virus that can be life-threatening, especially for puppies.
Parvovirus spreads easily through contact with infected dogs, contaminated environments, and even on our shoes and clothing. It can also survive in the environment for months, even years.
The good news is, parvovirus preventable.
✔️ Keep your dog’s vaccinations up to date
✔️ Keep puppies and unvaccinated dogs at home
