Position: Junior Horseperson / Trainer’s Assistant

Attard Stockhorses is seeking a keen, reliable young person to join our team and assist with the breaking-in and training of our Australian Stock Horses.
About the Role
At Attard Stockhorses, you’ll gain hands-on experience in every stage of horsemanship. As a large stud that breeds, trains and sells our own horses, we offer a truly unique learning environment.
Duties include:
• Assisting with starting young horses
• Riding, handling and groundwork
• Feeding, rugging, cleaning yards and general horse care
• Helping maintain a tidy and safe stud environment
• Occasional cattle work, farm duties and general station tasks
What We’re Looking For
• Someone honest, hardworking and eager to learn
• Confident around horses (some riding experience required)
• Good attitude, punctual and respectful
• Able to work as part of a small team
• Suit school-leaver or younger worker wanting to get into the equine industry
